So? It's not like this thread isn't related to this site. Making a "check out this ITG song I wrote" thread is different from making a "join my site" thread. This definitely isn't the first of this type of thread I've seen here. _________________

too bad it doesnt have anything to do with ITG. It doesnt even sound anything like Smiley. The only smiley song it reminds me of is Duality, which is nothing like any other Smiley song

O RLY?
AA Bob wrote: | I do have some constructive criticism for you though. The part from 0:44 - 1:05 doesn't sound as professional as the rest of the song. Some of the intervals between the piano and the synth really clash, and more noticeably, the two parts sound as if they have different tonal centers. If you want, try transposing the piano down a fifth (or up a fourth). |
Edit: And even if it is just one loop, who cares? Many ITG songs are very repetitive.
Some songs sound like they were written by someone with no idea of what they were doing, and others sound like they were written by someone with musical talent. This song falls into the latter category.
Edit 2: Actually, there is variety, and it exists in the percussion and bass in the beginning and end. In a short, dance-game-type song like this, you don't really need much more than that. |
It sounds to me like someone who knew what they were doing, but not enough digital experience to make a quality work. The song is very 1-dimensional, and while ITG songs may be repetitive, there is a difference between repititive and 1-loop. The beat for "Snap Yo Fingers" is 1 loop. "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" is repetitive. _________________

dancefreak's steps are probably doable on the pad by someone who can do 12's. The only thing makig mine hard to pad is that one big fat 129 note in the middle. But hey, it's only 12 BPM faster than Delirium and half the length, so it's definitely possible. _________________

i think it was really cool how you guys were able to make the song slow down at the piano part I changed the piano to a synth but it shouldnt mess up the way you guys did the step files. |

Seriously, nice job though. I'm starting to think that those steps should be a 12, and the heavy steps a hard 10 or easy 11.
Any artists out there want to make a banner? _________________

If you're rating those expert steps as keyboard it's more like 10 or 11. And actually I used C675, it just doesn't show up right in the theme. _________________

I agree. Looking back I rated that rather incorrectly as a 12. I'd say it would be more appropriate as an 10. _________________

Okay, the changes have been made. I'm currently working on a zOMG keyboard edit. Now all we need is someone to make a banner and bg and we have ourselves a quality simfile. _________________

doesnt look like ANY one at itgfreak.com likes my song.... most of them over there are jerk offs.
Heres the update to the song... tell me what you think of the new synth, kick, and instead of piano, the synth that took its place
