Summer 2005, I went out with a bunch of my friends to go play Lazer Tag. We had to wait 15 minutes for the next round to begin, so three or four of us went to the non-redemption side, and a DDR 5th Mix drew us nearer. It was only $0.50 for 4 songs, so two of us tried it.

I think we played Furhatas Theme, Stomp To My Beat, The Cube, and Xanadu. The rest is history (BTW, I set an arcade record in Lazer Tag)

About 2 or 3 years ago, we went to Thailand and there were lots of games for really cheap. Two of them happened to be DDR games (Euromix and Disney's Rave). My brother started playing it and I tried playing it and I really liked it and was hooked.

i started playing DDR in the middle of 2002. i came to MGl and i saw the USA machine. i saw 3 people taking turns freeestyling on it. (AKA - Romy, Drakonis, & Kenshin) i was completely in awe - but i was still too afraid to play. years later, i started having doggystyle sex with every female member under 20. couple that with a few tournament wins, and you've got yourself the life story of Fuzzy Hat.

TADA!!!

I started playing DDR 22 days ago. I don't count the other two times before I got my home version playing at the arcade because I barely knew what I was doing.

My cousin from Newfoundland came to Ontario to visit my family and I. He wanted to see the CN Tower while he was up here. When we were at the base of the tower, we saw an arcade. We were playing a whole bunch of other games before we started playing DDR. It could have been In The Groove, but I'm not sure. All that I know is that it had the song Bumble Bee in it. When we played, we were both on beginners mode playing songs at random. When I was playing, I actually thought that I was decent, but we sucked. E15.gif

After that, I still wasn't really interested in DDR. I never thought about wanting to play it again until one of my friends and I went to see a movie at the theatres. I saw a DDR: Extreme machine there. Joking around, I said I could kill him at it. After the movies, we bought some tokens, and played a couple of rounds. We were both on Beginners mode. I think I might have done a couple of rounds by mistake. We were probably playing DDR for about half an hour. When I got home, I told my mom about a game called 'Dance Dance Revolution', and how I wanted to get a copy of it for Playstation 2.

Days later, I went on eBay and showed her some bundles with 2 mats and a DDR game. After looking around and comparnig prices, she let me bid on a copy of DDR: Max with two pads. I won the auction for around $65.00 with shipping and handling. She bought it because it's a great way to get excercise while playing a video game.

I was so excited that I was going to get a DDR game in the mail (with pads!) The seller on eBay shipped the item from California to Ontario in less than 2 weeks. His username was 'monkeyhk1994' or something like that. I couldn't wait to play DDR any longer so I bought DDR: Mario Mix with a dance pad included at a game store at the mall.

When I got home with it, I was playing it for almost four hours straight. I had beaten story mode and had unlocked all but one song. My mom and I were taking turns doing songs. She was playing on Easy and I was playing on Normal and Hard. Days later I started playnig on Very Hard. Then a week later I started Super Hard.

The DDR: Max 2 bundle finally got here after two very long torturous weeks. When I got it, I played it right away on Light, and shortly advanced to Standard. I was passing most of the Standard songs, but I decided to see if I would fail an easy Heavy song. I played Heaven and I got a B on it. I surprised myself because I had never done any eighth notes. I kept myself on Heavy playing the easier songs, and then I started doing the 7 and 8 footers. While attempting to do those, I noticed that the softpad was sliding all over the place.

I was already a member at DDRFreak and I remembered seeing tutorials about how to modify your softpad. I went to Home Depot and some fabric store, and modded my pad so it wouldn't slip or bunch up while I was doing harder songs.

I practised at home, went to the arcades, practised some more, etc., etc.

While I was at arcades I saw people going crazy playing DDR on ten footers. It was crazy. They were attracting a huge crowd and getting alot of attention. I wanted to be as good as them...or better. To this day I'm still trying my best to get really good. Some people have come up to me and commented on my DDRing. They said I was amazing. erm.gif I was amazing? I was doing Break Down on Standard x1.5 (Six Footer). Right next to me was a SuperNOVA machine with people going crazy on Expert. Why were they commenting on my playing? erm.gif

Anyways I plan to keep playing DDR and trying to get as good as these people that I see at the arcade owning the DDR machines. I'm also going to continue playing it to lose weight.

That's my story. E1.gif

I started playing 11 months ago

A friend of mine played it and I just wondered if it was really much fun. I always wanted to play with him but even after 11 months that never happened.

Why do I keep playing?
To lose weight.
I dont know why but I like following arrows in the game or something....er...yeah it's just lots of fun. But I think soon stepmania will take over my interest...

I am still playing to show other people how to play and just a way to relieve stress.

It all started with the death of the dinosaurs... you see the dinosaurs all died. millions of years later I go to a dinosaur museum and ask "why did the dinosaurs become extinct?" the chaperone replied "because you touch yourself at night..." I got mad, closed my eyes and started stomping. without me knowing, a man picked me up and put me on a DDR pad. when I opened my eyes i saw that i got a A+. I looked over at the man and he said "you are the chosen one. my name is morphine, and I have been looking for you..." he was wearing all black and had sunglasses. I yelled "mommy a gothic man picked me up!" he said "I am not gothic" then I yelled "oh he's not gothic, nevermind its o.k." then he ran up the wall ran upside down on the ceiling and landing on the DDR pad as it started, making himself get a PERFECT for the first button. As he played I was amazed and he told me that I was the chosen one to get a AAA+ on the hardest song on DDR. I said "not uh" he said "yeah huh" I said "not uh" he said "yeah huh" then I said "I'll prove it!" I started playing and I sucked, then he said "whats the matter, you touch yourself at night too much?" I got mad, closed my eyes and started stomping in anger. When I opened my eyes i got a A+ on sakura standard mode. I realized I was the chosen one.

Oh yeah I also shot morphine for saying that I touch myself at night, so yeah..

I think I at first heard it being talked about by a friend of mine a few years ago, and I always wanted to play, but I wasn unsure if I would like it.
I played it at an aracde at Six Flags, but it was just to try it out, I was glad I got to play it but I lost intrest because it didn't seem there were songs I might have liked.
Then a friend of mine got Mario Mix, and I got addicted so I got the game, it wasn't difficult so it was good for a beginnier...If i had started with normal DDR I might not have liked it.
Another friend had a normal DDR game, and then I got addicted to that. I eventually got a DDR game for ps2, it was a diffrent one than my friend had but I liked mine better.
Now, I love the DDR music (except a few songs) and the game itself. It is really fun and stuff, and I'm getting a lot better pretty quickly.

This happened December 2005.

I was at the winter carnival, and I saw my friend, Romar, playing DDR in the back of the gym. I played, and I failed. Well, when winter break started, I went to the arcade and got playing.

I did my first show around Janurary 2006. I impressed them (except for Jen, whom I still kinda hate). I can do double and PSM Another.

ive started playing DDR since 2005. first song i played was "Happy Wedding" on Light which i found it was pretty hard. then i keep come back everyday and play the same song over and over again, sometime id changed the songs, just to try something new. now im playing on Heavy mode, just started playing on 8 and 9 feet, i found its really hard but if i keep practicing i think i could get better. the guys at the mall always beat me up(in DDR) and they said im bad. But i dont care i just play 4 the fn of it and good excercise(ok i admited i DO care abut wat they said)and hoping that i would be good as them someday.
hey if any of u guys live in Sydney and Northern Beaches u can catch me at the mall around 12 to 3 pm at Warringah Mall, and who knows we might learn something from each other.

When I was first introduced to DDR, I was going to Cal-Skate with my elementary school and I enter the building I spot a DDR machine. I was really amazed on how cool the game was. I seen someone playing it so I decided to play it. As any person who as first stepped onto a DDR platform, you do horribly. I kept playing it, because it keeps you in shape and it looks enoyable. Thats how my first DDR experience was.

"Phillipeno's song, Phillipeno level" and you can only obtain that by getting a AAA+ on every song of the tournament. when i win the tournament and beat the phillipeno song with a AAA+ on phillipeno level. i may, indeed, get to touch myself at night. but then it starts a whole new journey to go to every machine and get the high score on every one, untill then, i cannot truely touch myself in the way i want to at night....

-one man, a fillipeno. one quest. i am Jonathan Panganiban...

oh yeah i also shot morphine for saying that i touch myself at night so yeah.

Dude, first off...

That was NOT true most likely

And also...

Why do filipinos tend to always as much as possible scream out theya re filipino. Im 100% filipino, but i dont liek jsut go out asking "are you a fillipino" to everyone i see, unlike my mom, whoinstantly sayus a person si her friend when she finds out they are filipiono!
