Yeah, I obviously can't do this. Is there anywhere I can get one that's already modded? |
just do what i did and buy a Jps2 its easyer and more convienant and it is also fool proof aganst the reigon protection (and if you end up with an older chip or they change the region protection again before the end of the PS2 life cycle youll be stuck with a modded system that cant play newer games) _________________

carrying around a second playstation just seemed like a hassle i didn't want to deal wit. especially just to play about four games. while some people may have had problems early on, after the messiah was released i don't think anyone had any major playing issues _________________

i found the hassle of boot disks or codes or disk swaps to be the bigger hassle and now that everyone and thier mother has a PS2 you only really need to cary one around anyway _________________

What a wonderful contribution to this thread. YOU WIN.
CWK - You're probably just going to be better off importing the JP styles for IIDX and telling BM US to screw off. As for the "too hard" thing....IIDX is just hard in general. The learning curve is ridiculous and you're just going to have to keep playing those harder songs until you can start passing them. That's the best way to do it. _________________

i wouldnt be suprised if another beatmania game came around. Maybe konami will give us an all IIDX mix with 70+ songs. It may not be next year, but i doubt beatmania is never gonna come back. Once people get over the GH craze(if they do), i expect konami to come in with another beatmania. _________________

I personally think that burning a 25 cent CD-R so you can do some extra cool things with your PS2 to not be that big a deal. _________________

I want the jp beatmania games, but where can I buy them for a reasonable price? And same with ddr games. And I have a random question. Does ddr Extreme for the jp ps2 REALLY have all the songs the songlist on this website says?! It's just sorta hard to believe... _________________

Memoriesmemoriesmemoriesmemoriesmemoriesmemories.
EBT: That's what I was going to do in the first place, but everyone said to go with the fliptop. I might go back to the original idea of doing that though. Besides, the PS2 looks sexy in shiny white. |

So do you know where I can get a fully working JP PS2 for cheap? Because paying $200 on Lik Sang gives me wallet aches. |
