BWAHAHAH! I did #9 and #2 on that list! Fear me.

Yeah, it should have been FAXX, not just any Max song. Max300 was cheesecake compared to all the others. Prolly because it was the first.

There is quite a bit of bull packed into that list. Particularly these three.

Top 10 Lists : The Top 10 Greatest Gaming Achievements wrote:
#7: Earn all 120 Stars - Super Mario 64 (N64)

As the flagship title for the N64, Super Mario 64 had a lot of things going for it: creative and intuitive controls, innovative level design, beautiful graphics... the list goes on, I'm sure. However, SM64 also holds the N64's first great goal, and one of gamings most demanding achievements: to gain all 120 Stars. While every Mario game was lengthy to some degree, the sheer number of Stars Mario had to collect just to beat Bowser, 70 in all, was quite the chore to collect. The remaining 50 Stars were not mandatory, but only one who collected all 120 could call himself a Mario Master.

I've gotten all 150 stars on the DS version without working at it very much. Not hard at all.

Top 10 Lists : The Top 10 Greatest Gaming Achievements wrote:
#5: Reach Level 60 - World of Warcraft (PC)

The MMORPG known as WoW has propelled itself to legendary status faster than almost any PC game to date. Dismissing, of course, the practices of "gold-farming" and "power-leveling," the single most glorious achievement in all of Azeroth is undeniably to reach Level 60, maximum level. While the first few levels may be simple enough, the sheer amount of experience needed to gain levels late in the game makes this feat one of the most tiresome and tedious on this list. The sight of a Level 60 character is enough to instill true fear in the heart of any noob.

Has anyone else here ever heard of or played the game Maple Story? Getting to Level 60 in WoW is the equivalent of getting to Level 40 in Maple Story. Upon reaching Level 50 and beyond in MS, it takes eight to ten hours of grinding to level up ONCE. I, myself, have a Level 64 character, and I can say from experience that it is not easy by any means.

Not a single person has reached the level cap in any version of the game (no one knows if there even is a level cap). The highest level player is a Level 196.

Top 10 Lists : The Top 10 Greatest Gaming Achievements wrote:
#2: Beat a MAX song on Heavy - Dance Dance Revolution (ARC)

A truly noteworthy and heavily respected achievement, to say that you can master (or, in some cases, even pass) one of the series famous MAX songs is quite the brag. To say that you can do so on the hardest difficulty, however, is a privilage handed down to only the most talented of DDR dancers. To call yourself a MAX master is to say that countless quarters, cramps, and failures have amounted to a truly great dancer.

...I'm sure I don't have to explain this to DDR Freak.

I've gotten an A on PSMO (controller...)!!! OH, BURN!!!!

#10-Not very hard.

#9-Depends which game. Getting Emeralds on the Sonic Advance Series is HARD!! *I've only gotten one on 1 & 2, but just need to clear the airplane level for the last one! YAY!* Genesis, Sonic Rush, not very hard.

#8-That sounds sorta hard.

#7-Not THAT hard. I got all 120 on N64 (99 LIVES, MY FOOT!!) AND all 150 on DS.

#1-...OH...GOD.........Now THAT is one difficult challenge!!! & I almost had all 151 Pokemon on Blue & a Level-99 Charizard! (Until my FRIEND DELETED IT!!! devil.gif )

Also, this is just someone opinion. These opinions do not reflect GameFAQs in anyway, what so ever.

Yeah, too bad I have 3 lvl 60's and I still have PLENTY of time to juggle arrowsmash.

Seriously, I believe there are 48000 60's on my server, it can't be that hard then, give me a break. WoW is so easy to level. It is harder to get 6 lvl 100 Pokemon WITHOUT using the duplicate rare candy trick than to get 60s.

Oh, and if it said PSMO as opposed to a Max song, I might agree, but not really. Passing a Max song is no where near the top 10 gaming achievements, but AAAing it probably is

The hardest gaming achievement of all time is (and I'm not joking) save ALL the Mudokuns in Abe's Exodus. Friggin impossible I swear

Holy fucking christ that does not belong as #2, noob or not. Replace #2 with something noteworthy, like passing all 13s on ITG or reaching lv. 100 on O2Jam (damn is that hard).

first of all, passing a max song on heavy is a pretty big gaming acheivement. The fact that 80% of people here can do that means nothing. The fact that only about 0.01% of people in the world (I'm bsing the numbers obv, but they're probably not THAT far off) does mean something. It just seems insignificant because that's what you all "specialise" in. A competetive chubby bunny player is not impressed by 15 full marshmellows, but I bet not too many people can do even 10.

well, the thing is that DDR/ITG is not a talent most people have, and most average DDR players cannot do a max song, so this isnt too out of the ballpark. number 2 on the list? probably not. And its not ITG because ITG isnt very well known, and isnt iconic like DDR. Most kids in high school and middle school know what DDR is, but sat ITG and theyll most likely respong WTF?

I can beat all DDR Extreme fast 10 footers and most 11 and a few 12s in ITG.

I can get about 86% on Vertex 2 in stepmania.

exactly. Its not the hardest (it being any max song) song in existance, but they're the flagship of "hard ddr". And if they were trying to pick the hardest song evar, they (the guy who made this list who is unafiliated with gamefaqs) would have to get songs from stepmania, dwi, etc. So, really I guess #2 should be. AAAA Calicanto or some retarded song like that. (simfile/song for calicanto can be found at http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/sims/index.php?songid=3229, its not really supposed to be taken that seriously, though I'd love to see someone do this in sm).

ITG gets too much love.

Passing a MAX is harder than people say it is. The people who say it's easy generally have played for more than a year and half. And I dunno, play a VIDEO GAME for a year and half, just to pass one song... sounds pretty hard to me, and probably most other stable people.

And Pandemonium Expert should of been at the top of that list. It would be easier to stage a full-scale terrorist attack on the US than it is to pass that stupid song.

EDIT: Ok, on average, it takes the AVERAGE DDR player a year or more to pass a MAX. A year just to pass ONE song. I'd say it's hard whether you're gifted with speed-leveling (heh...) at DDR or not.

Here's the secret:

-Get Pokemon Yellow, Gold, and Silver used all for yourself.
-Own two Gameboy colors (Yes, colors, they new stuff freaks out when you trade to stuff like Pokemon Yellow).
-Buy a link cable

You now have nothing stopping you to get 249 of the first 251 (Mew and Celebi only semi-exist, stupid hack Pokemon)

I don't care about anything after that though, but I once had all 251 (My friend had a Gameshark and this gave me around 6 cloned Mew and Celebi each)

Hurray for cloning.

I'm a bit late here, but whatever.

I don't think the feat deserves to be #2 on the list by any means, but that doesn't magically make it "easy". As mentioned already, of course most of us here will find it relatively easy, as most of us here are serious arrowsmashers. Whatever BSing of the numbers you do, the actual percentage of players who can pass a 10+ is almost certainly very small, depending on who you choose to include in that percentage, even as the absolute number continues to increase. ITG coming along doesn't magically make it easier either--it's gotten relatively easier, sure, but it's not like arrows have magically disappeared from the charts between 2001-ish and now. They're the same difficulty as they were five years ago. Honestly, this is something that I think a lot of people here lose sight of thanks to continuous exposure to world-class players and scores.

I can liken it, in a way, to Generic #12 Guy at the end of the bench on a given NBA team. Yeah, that guy will basically spend his career riding the bench, but just the fact that he's even in the NBA puts him among the best of the best basketball players in the world. In the same way, passing a Max song, while it doesn't mean you're at the level of a (Insert players whose cocks get Internet-sucked here), puts you in what I would consider to be elite company.

I can't beat any MAX songs. Then again, I'm not all that good.

EDITED: I've been playing for over 2 years and I can't A any 10 footers - the only one I can pass is Sakura, and that's just barely.

However, speaking among us DDR 'elitists', maybe that list should say A or above MAX songs on DDR. Because we know there are people who have AAA'd them. But I'm just mumbling crap now.
