WTF? Unexplanable skill level?

Okay, well I started to use the bar a couple days ago, woo-hoo! At first I thought it was doing nothing, I was getting the same scores on the same songs, and the same ammount of tiredness. To get an idea of my level, I have an 88.xx on hand of time, 78.xx on my favorite game, 73.xx on hybrid, ect. I can't even pass half the 10's. Anyway so I tried Xuxa expert for fun. To my huge suprise I passed it was a 73.xx. I next tried july (I read some people say its one of the hardest 11's?), and pass it with a 68.xx. I'm sure I could get alot better scores on both, but I just ran 7 miles before playing.

Anyway, I tried some other 10's that I couldn't pass and still couldn't come close to passing them. Tension I got a 7%, lol. So wtf, I can pass july and xuxa but not half the 10's?

All I can say is practise.

Something like this has happened to me before, but with DDR. I could pass MAX 300 and MAXX UNLIMITED but not Cartoon Heroes. But I fixed it with some whoring (both on the pad and with SM). You could try that.

It might actually be a mental thing. I find I perform better on some songs than others because the mood the song puts me in makes me use more or less energy.

If you can pass July you can pass pretty much any 10. If you still claim that after passing July you can't pass half the 10's, you either never passed July or you played it when you were fully energized and are proceeding to only play 10's when you are dead tired. Simple as that.

That happens to me sometimes. Once every few days I'll get in the zone, and end up doing songs that normally are pretty not not possible for me to pass and get somewhere along the lines of an 80%. Try it again.. almost guarantee you it won't be the case. Then again.. you wouldn't have happened to have used a Sobe energy drink, did you? Those things always perk me up right before some hard songs.

I've passed all but one ITG 11 (scores like 97,91,89,88,80...) and I still haven't passed Tension.

Certain songs seem to defy their rating.

It is fairly common to be able to pass the majority of 11s and fail Disconnected Hyper or Tension, heck Soapy Bubble too

It is fairly common to pass Summer before Determinator

It is fairly common to find Queen of Light much easier than half the 9s

Your problem is not as rare as you may think

Its hard to BS Disconnected Hyper and Tension if you're just at that skill level. I hadn't passed most of the 10s when i passed The Beginning, Charlene, Utopia, Xuxa, and July, in one night, with scores much like you (72-74 on most, 68 on July).

I passed Tension the first time I ever heard/played it, and I only got 49% on July a few days before that

I think I'm just good at BS'ing songs, hell I've even passed Delirium and ! but failed One False Move the two times I've tried it lol.

I've got a similar problem. I can't pass PSMO...yet I can easily pass HotN Expert. I've got a major problem with crossovers.
Why does everybody think July is so hard? I find it quite a bit easier than stuff like Xuxa and Infection, and heck, definitely Mythology. It was the second 11 I passed (after Charlene). Maybe it's just because that's just about my favorite ITG song.

Try to do ''Utopia" from smiley on expert. It's a really cool song and it's a little hard since it's a 11 footer. So try that And keep your eyes open for "bag" it's a hard 10 that you can whore from. And if you really really really want some intense experience do "vertex" 4x,overhead that's like the hardest song for me so far
