Kids doing routined freestyling? Hmm...sounds kindy fishy. I put $5 that the show is scripted.

If not then who wants to see 20 minutes of handplants, knee drops, handslaps, etc. anyway?

B4U as the theme song wouldn't be half bad. It IS technically the DDR theme song. If not then Brilliant2U or <insert random Naoki made song here> is.

BeForU was easily the heart and soul of DDR, until someone in Konami thought that it's a threat to the current structure (read: Konami's blatant overfunding of IIDX/pop'n).

i keep getting the idea that this show's somehow gonna turn out to be a comedy or w/e. i'm ready to give it a chance, but the article linked on the first page of this thread makes it seem like an exercise program.

I'm thirsty for more info about the show.

All we know about Dance Revolution is that...

-CBS, DIC, and Konami united together to make this upcoming children's TV series (rated TV-Y7 in the US)
-it will start to air in September on the upcoming CBS's SMSSP
-it will feature: dance moves which are supposed to make you want to try them out, "kid-friendly judges" to make it seem like American Idol, and a "house band"
-it will also promote healthy living through live-action, and a little animation

What are the show's genre(s)? How kiddy is this show supposed to be? Will it be like a game show, be like American Idol, feature drama, or what?

Are there any trailers that will introduce Dance Revolution, as there are with the DDR video games? I want to get a feel of the show.

Heh...nearly a month later and no new information, except that it will be on KOL's Saturday Morning Whatever instead of CBS's Secret Saturday Whatever.
