LOL. That's ~horrible~ for the pads. But kudos on an awesome pair of shoes [boots]. ^-^;; |
My friend once wore combat boots doing ddr.. He split the plastic part of the arcade pad in half. |

I either wear my old pair of Nike's or my new pair of AND1's. It's much easier to play in older, broken-in shoes too. lol _________________

Older, more worn in and flexible shoes work best. _________________

Currently, two pairs of Reeboks (same shoes, cept one are just new and I need to break them in.)
I learned not to play without a shirt though; last time there was so much sweat that my shoes were beginning to slip (a lot) |

Converse or DC's. I find the Converse have superior grip, but occasionally my foot seems to get caught on the edge of the button if I'm not careful. The DC's I usually am wearing when I just walk by the arcade and have an inspiration to play... which is everytime I walk by the arcade... I find that they tend to have less grip, but are way more comfy. |

I'm cheap and haven't invested in a Red Octane or Cobalt Flux or anything nice, so I still have the basic-buttocks soft pad that comes with Extreme 2. So at home I play in socks. It works
But at the arcade, it's all about the New Balance. _________________

When I play DDR at home with a soft pad, I play in my socks.
When I play at an arcade or on a metal pad, I wear any type of skate shoe.
