Plywood mod should work well. And I've seen it at GameStop for $30, but I've heard people comment that they've seen it as low as $15 somewhere. It really didn't sell well.... |

Ive got PIU for the XBOX.
I switched over from the xbox to the xbox 360.
I heard some guy tell me its backwards compatible.
But I guess I failed to hear the pad was not. Any advice, anybody know if theres an adapter for the PIU pad or if they are going to make a 360 compatible one? |

I would say around 13, less complex 14s (like Vook, Winter, X-treme). You could probably tool around with some higher songs because some of the ratings are just weird (17 on BotW2 CZ? Overrated, methinks). _________________

It might take a while to get used to odd patterns though. For most of the songs I play, I either pass or not depending if I can read the patterns. It's never about footspeed or stamina or anything. _________________

Well the songs I mentioned by name don't really have any funny patterns in excess so they pretty much ARE nothing but footspeed and stamina (assuming you know the layout of the pad). _________________

got it earlier today. can't believe it. i struggle through 3s. its really frustrating. i didn't think i would be this bad, i hate being an arrow smash nub again. i like the game, but clearly itll take some work. i thought i would be able to jump right in, but i find myself hitting the cardinal directions and losing my balance alot. |

Don't worry about it. On my first day playing, I had trouble doing the easiest songs, but I just kept at it and eventually the 5 panel lay-out just stuck. Don't get discouraged if you don't get it right away though. |

I love this game. Also, apparently a recently created theater near me (roughly 10 minutes, The Rave in Huntsville) now has a shiny new Zero. I was shocked, to say the least, I though I was just going to see Pirates. Motivation, and what an amazing coincidence. You have to buy a ticket to get in the place, so it looks like Ill be seeing alot of terrible summer movies. |

|
|
I've think found a really annoying issue with Pump Zero's Another channel that really messes things up when playing an Arcade mode vs. game.
Scenario: one of two players starts switching channels... K-pop Channel, Pop Channel, Another Channel.
Initial effect: Both players get set to Crazy mode when Another channel was selected.
Unwanted Effect: One player switching out of Another channel (e.g., to Banya channel) does NOT appear to also change the other player out of Crazy Mode. The other player must separately switch their difficulty out of Crazy mode.
This may be the game's intentional design, but almost seems like it's a bug in the game. |

Hello PIU fans! I'm not a big Pump fan, but I do play it occasionally at my mall. Well, I was perusing the internet earlier today, and I found this, you might enjoy:

Dr. M? lol
I'm now proficient in the 7-9 range, but certain patterns requiring crazy turns/crossovers or double steps frick me up. I know some of these are in Xtreme and Pump Me Amadeus (hard) right off the top of my head, whereas some songs (Turkey March) are relatively painless. Do you guys double step alot? I only double stepped in DDR in a few places, like HVAM. I can do things like northeast/center/northwest etc. fine. |

I remember when I was at the same place as you. I could do some 12's and 13's, but I still had problems with the footwork in some of the hard songs.
The three that I practiced to get used to the footwork, were the two you mentioned, and Monkey Fingers (hard), but you have to force yourself not to double-step. Every time I would play, I would start by playing those three, then play whatever other songs I want, then finish with the same three.
Also, if you haven't already turned off the life bar (if you play arcade mode), you should. At first I felt guilty about this, but then I learned that most arcades don't make you fail if your life bar runs out. This way you won't have to worry about failing every time you get to unfamiliar footwork. |

I remember PMA HD being really evil for when I was in that range. I just double stepped it (though I double step EVERYTHING unless it's too fast). _________________

Well, I have the X-box home version with Xbox live. So i just downloaded the song editor and made edits with one freeze arrow at 500 BPM. It counted as thousands of steps a song, so it only took me like half an hour. |

i would have got the xbox version but the lack of maria and canon d is disturbing.
is it possible to play bee (hard) without double stepping? that and a part of oh rosa are completely rediculous. if anyone has extra time, some videos showing the more difficult turns would be really nice. |
