but yes id like to see them. also if DDR had more mods. the fuwa fuwa and brake, only seen in missions and trick oni, should be added to spice things up.
bringing back long mixes, or at least longer songs in the game would help.
even better if they made another mix that could hook up with beatmania. |
Many of your points fail:
- Hands: Every played Solo? There are a few instances of 3 arrows at a time. Also, PIU was more known for hands before ITG was ever even thought up.
- Mods: Easily addable to an arcade machine (read: Extreme) with a disk hack.
- Long versions: Hello 5th Mix.
- beatmania hook up: Honestly, how many IIDX machines exist in the US that would be worth it to support a new mix? DDR is dead in Japan and IIDX is nearly nonexistant in the US.
As per 11s in DDR: I don't see it happening. The game is fine on its own with the 10 (and 10+) rating. I find that anything over that kind of rating (on 4-panel) is a little excessive. If ratings go any higher, I would expect it to apply to doubles only. |
Hmmm... i see you dont quite get what i say. let me reiterate it better.
as for Hands, i mean in standard four aroow mode
Mods: Disk hacks can be messy, and ive seen two machines with them that are very glitchy. it would be better if they were official.
Long versions: Notice i said BRINGING BACK long versions. Of course i knew it was on 5th, and they were cool. thats why they need to get them on the next arcade and home again. future songs could be made to be longer.
the SubS mix: Hey if they did some marketing research allittle more and some clever hooks, perhaps they could revive Beatmania. id definitely buy it. _________________

I want to play ITG now that I can AA every 9 footer and A every 10 footer in DDR. The problem is, the nearest ITG arcade machine must be around a 3 hour drive away. I don't think so. As for home versions, I don't own a PS2. I'm just waiting for ITG for the PC because I've failed to find any decent songpacks of ITG songs for Stepmania either... _________________

Difficulty matters, not numbers.
But Konami could work on pumping up the difficulty as well. |

Speaking as someone who still hasn't managed to beat all the songs in DDR (in fact, I'm still working on Max 300 as my next 10-footer, as well as Paranoia Survivor), I still wish that Konami would add more difficult songs to the game, even though I can't do them yet. It's just nice to have something to aspire to, y'know, to have a goal.
I don't think it's a big deal if they don't rate anything hire. I was under the impression that a flashing 10=10.5 or harder, and that would include 11s, 12s, 13s, and 10000s (though that'd be probably just a retarded hour-long run of sixty-fourth notes at 300bpm, and yes, I'm not serious).
And yeah, I also wish DDR would have more hands, but mostly, I just wish the songs in DDR were longer, like the ones in ITG. Y'know, more bang for your buck.
So, anyway, to answer your question, no. _________________

I'd really like to see hands in DDR. Not that i'm any huge fan of hands, but Konami would have to make the pads as sensative as Roxor pads then
If Sakura, Xepher, and Bag are 10 footers, Faxx is an 11 footer _________________

No they wouldn't, because Konami really doesn't care. _________________
