Has anyone tried to play doubles on a CF and Afterburner (as opposed to CF + CF or Afterburner + Afterburner)
I'm currently ordering a CF + Arcade mod(which, hopefully, will arrive within a month, but I may be too hopeful), and i'm thinking about ordering another pad because I really want to learn playing doubles
because every pad i own is a big different (1 slippy pad (broken), 1 nonslip, 1 foam pad), its not exactly the best way to do doubles
I didn't order two cobalt fluxes only because i didn't want to be locked into CFs (tho reviews tell me its not that bad, but i want to keep my options opened, just incase there is a new metal pad that comes out that wipes the competition clean, or something of the sort)
And i suppose I might be able to do doubles with CF + Afterburner if i put a little piece of wood under the CF (assuming that the CF is shorter)
So what i'm asking is if anyone has ever tried doing double with these two pads (or any different combinations of metal pads), and what are your thoughts on it? |

Don't get an Afterburner, mine broke and I can't get it fixed. Get another CF, they have much better warrenty options. _________________

It'll still be weird due to how recessed the Afterburner panels are compared to the CF's. Try not to trip. :P _________________
