Has anyone tried the metal DDR pad that Channel Beat sells? I normally wouldn't ask, but it's listed at $69.95, which is awesome XD.

I would agree, but there are some distinct differences, as you can see

Channel Beat

TX1000

I just want to know the quality of the channel beat one, whether it's the same as the TX1000 or not.

Ive stayed away from these forums for a while as its usually the same 8 questions over and over tongue.gif

This is an older model TX-1000

same sensors, same material, same failure rate. Youre better off with at least a TX-2000 because the frame is thick enough to warrant mods such as rewiring, setting up sheet metal sensors (not just sheet metal mods, I mean the whole sensors) and so forth.

I wouldn't say its a bad pad. I have to get mine fixed right now because some of the pannels aren't working well. I suggest making a wooden base for it.
