So I think it's safe to say I'm finally used to the Flux/playing with shoes. Hooray!
Notes for the day:
Tried the Far East marathon, was doing well on the third song...and then just somehow lost a step somewhere and promptly failed. Weird.
Either I'm missing some secret technique for how to do it, or the stepchart for Oasis Expert is complete crap. Or both.
Now then, the accomplishments:
Bubble Dancer (Hard)- 98.67, improving the ** I already had on it. Of note is that I really hope this song with its new Expert steps makes it into ITG2CS.
Bouff (Hard)- 83.46
Delirium (Hard)- 91.71. Hadn't played it in awhile and couldn't remember if the 279 BPM occured at any relevant point in the song (It doesn't). I'd do it on X1.5 or maybe even X2 given another crack at it.
Do U Love Me (Expert)- 76.77. NICE improvement over my earlier score. I actually failed on my first attempt at this today (This was the second). Oh well.
Don't Promise Me (Happiness) (Hard)- 91.93. Blah blah blah lack of familiarity with tempo changes yap yap yap.
Pandemonium (Hard)- 7.64. Only 72.36 to go....
Tell (Hard)- 94.22
The Game (Expert)- 90.74. Hooray!
Tribal Style (Hard)- 87.63
Vertex (Hard)- 83.06, which completes a Groovestats challenge. Woo!
Zodiac (Expert)- 88.18. Could probably bring this up a little more now that I think I've refined my strategy on it.
Finally, Hard ** #6...the fact that I pulled this off despite 4 Greats is actually pretty encouraging:
EDIT: And congrats on the first 10 pass A2P ..mine was Queen of Light, and the grade is...somewhere in this topic, heh.
Nice job to everyone else too. _________________

I finally passed Determinator Expert. I don't have a pic but it was an 86%. Not too bad after only a few of tries. The reason I didn't pass it the first few times was that I had put it on 3x because I didn't think I could play it on 4x. I was wrong. _________________

Let's see.
-The right arrow on the Flux doesn't register as well as I'd like. Unfortunately, without someone watching me play, it's impossible for me to say whether it's the pad or my technique. Unscrewing and investigating the right panel was inconclusive.
-Tried Charlene Expert in response to a Groovestats challenge. The most common result was I'd screw up the beginning run and fail with <1%. My best attempt when I didn't do that was something like 20.37%, so that song is out of my league for now, which I expected.
EDIT: Actually, if I want to be a prick and argue semantics, I have TECHNICALLY already completed the challenge as it's worded at the time of this edit. It doesn't actually say I have to PASS Charlene, merely TRY to pass it (And if I really want to be a prick, the challenge doesn't specify the difficulty either). Nonetheless, I'll leave it as active, as I think the intent was for the challenge to actually be "pass Charlene Expert".
Also, Bob, I'll give that a try if the problem persists. Something else I might try is having my brother take some not-very-high quality videos of my feet using the camera on his cell phone (Which is the best I can do as far as digital video goes) and have someone analyze it. I have the feeling my technique could still use some improvement, but it's hard to know without seeing for myself.
Scores:
Walking on Fire (Hard)- 94.26. I think I've mostly figured out the syncing for this stupid song.
Dawn (Expert)- 87.82
Charlene (Hard)- 95.40
And a new Expert 10 goes down after a couple attempts:

Yesterday I got a 94.37 on Infection Ex barless. I wasn't really playing for "real", though - my sister had the game on and I decided to play one song without bothering to put on shoes. I'm going to try to get a better score today.

If you're still noticing the problem a few days from now, try this:
-unscrew the panel
-use a knife to pry up part of the velcro circle on the panel, near where the wire goes under it
-uncurl the exposed part of the wire
-put everything back together
I've done that to two different panels on my CFs when they were giving me phantom non-combo steps. Strangely, I was getting mostly Almosts/Way Offs, not Misses. But anyway, doing that fixed the problem completely. _________________

Yeah, Agent Blatant is surprisingly easy for me.....I don't have a 99.45 on it, but I have around 5% higher than most of the other 10's. 88 on most, 93 on that..........and I'm working on **'ing Queen of Light....how pathetic
Anyways, I did something that I was told was not possible by my friends, after 6 months of playing ITG, I passed my first 13.
Unfortunately for me, it will not be a 13 for long. C'mon RoXoR, I want my bgar rights, and you take them away be re-rating Summer a 12.......
But yeah, I passed......with high 70's too. I almost comboed the first half, but the last runs hammered on my grade... _________________

There it clearly states Summer ~Speedy Mix~ is going to be a 12 in ITG 3. _________________

Ugh. ugh ugh ugh. so not a 12....
But how do we know for sure? where did this info come from, and how are we so positive? To be honest, I don't see any good reason why it should be changed. Theres lots of ratings that are far more arguable than Summer is, and I think the only ones that should be changed are the ones that were totally obvious such as Mythology, D-Code, or Disconnected Disco Double. The more arguable ones should stay because they have plenty of strong opinions on both sides. The only ones that argue that Summer should be a 12 are the people who score real well on really hard songs, which shouldn't be an issue for ratings, which determine passing, or people who are just unnaturally good at really long fast runs, which a lot of people aren't. All 12's for me a reasonable but Summer just seems way untouchable to me. _________________
