when a Xbox 360 and Ps3 comes out with all there DDR games and i have a pad that works with only the ps2 am i going to have to buy a whole new dance pad cause i have cobalt flux and i dont want tpo spend all that much money. Or are they just gonna sell a control box that will allow yur pad to work with with those pads. Do any of you know anything about that?

thats the same thing im worried about becuase it might be a waste of money now to buy a pad if im going to get a 360 in a couple months. someone will probably put out a control box though.

you should be able to connect pads with USB to the 360.

either that, our here are other fun things that might be possible.
1) Cobalt flux might make a USB control box that will work on PS3/360/PC/Wii(all varying on which system contains DDR) or make a gamecube control box that you can use on mario mix or a future possible wii mix.
2) someone will make an adapter. You know it will happen. And lets hope it doesnt suck(my smartjoy dual control adapter works fine with 1 pad, with 2 it can mess up on jumps because it can only trigger 3 buttons at a time im pretty sure).
3. You can pray to god a 3rd party company makes a cheap-buttocks controller(or the retro controller for wii...can you tell im excited for wii?) and you can resolder the points and make it work...and if you dont want to screw your current control box for ps2 just get an extension cord.

I don't think you have much to worry about, unless next-gen controllers are a pain in the buttocks to solder or if you use a wireless controller you MAY have a problem(not sure because ive never soldered using wireless controllers). As long as you can hook some wires to a circuit board and know how to read online walkthroughs, you'll be fine. Not to mention, someone will make an adapter if your lazy or retarded.

I heard something about CF making a new control box soon that'll be compatible with Xbox and PS2 and PC and all that stuff. Maybe CF will delay it so they can add compatibility with the PS3 and 360 and such.
