Second song in the list.

Well, I knew it was in the individual lists, but if you look at the huge list in the stepchart section, I don't think it's there. It skips from Love Love Sugar to .59.

That's because a decimal comes before a whole number such as 5

It's not a bad song, musically. But it doesn't belong in DDR at all, and Konami gave it a really stupid chart.

One False Move in ITG2, same problem.

There's a lot of songs that don't belong in DDR.

True, but 5.1.1 is probably the worst offender. That, or Be In My Paradise.

5.1.1 is a bazillion times better on IIDX than DDR.

It's called 5.1.1 cuz thats the room they made the song in, along with some other songs. The song 5.8.8 was named because they moved down the hall a bit. Don't quote me on that, but I believe thats the whole origin behind it...

5.1.1 would be most at home in Keyboardmania, I think.

Read. It's already on IIDX.

bimp is a good slow dance song, and the double stepchart is very nice. 5.1.1. is a little out of place in a dancing game, but no moreso than max300.

What are you talking about? MAX 300 is hard, energetic techno (I'm not familiar with the specific sub-genre), like something by 2 Unlimited. It's entirely danceable.

Yeah, but if anything, I like Jimizzle's explanation the best.

But look at most songs; quite a lot of them you couldn't put a name to a reason. What exactly is a "Down-Bird Sota" and what does it have to do with a rave filled with dynamite?

Dynamite is also used as an adjective to mean really good.. like.. "he's dynamite" or something (bad example ._.). As for down-bird sota.. dunno. Really really awesome rave?

how about trying to match the IIDX rhythms to 5.1.1 onto ddr, that would be cool. Hooray for mad 16ths.

"Dynamite Rave" would suggest a particularly heavy rave song that you really have to get into. As for "Down Bird SOTA", SOTA (aka System F, SysF, .3k, etc) is the name of one of Bemani's artists, and "Down Bird" doesn't really have to mean anything, you can call a remix of something anything you want.

ECSTACY (midnight blue mix)
MATSURI (j-summer mix)
Silent Hill (3rd christmas mix)

See a pattern?
