I bought a pad off of ebay that was homemade, because I'm a collossal idiot. Anyway, one day this pad magically broke. It won't respond as a controller at all. Could this be a problem with the black box (the controller with the Start/Select buttons on it), or is it possible that something else is screwing this up?

What I'm really asking here, is how do I run diagnostics on my pad to check for any errors?

Probably the controller (the black box).
