Ddr + Drummania?

I went to a local gamestop and found an intresting DDR pad. The pad was a large disc about 3/4 inch thick, 4 "arrow" images on the disc and 2 14 or 16a's. You use it by hitting the arrows with the sticks. It sells for about $20, I was wondering if this thing is new or is it an old thing?
