A left-footed game?

I've been wondering something for a while. I'm left-handed, and therefore also left-footed. If I play DDR for a long time, my legs start to feel heavy, especially my left leg. I've watched my right handed brother play, and the only difference I see in our playing styles is when I do an up-down jump I face left, and when he does he faces right. Is it just me, or does this game seem to favor the left leg?

True, it's ITG, but just look at the stepchart sometime, you'll understand what I mean.
