Stats after a weekish of playing:
Clear 2's and a few 3's. Hyper's are creeping along...
Managed to AA emotion (shocking I know)
A'd Battle Breaks, though my combo break around the end with the scratch-note part.

Well, I just got and played mine for the first time. Butt rape is not a strong enough term.

But this looks like it's going to be the beginning of a beautiful relationship. (I think I want to get good at this more than I wanted to get good at DDR back in the day.)

On Beginner i got the Word Perfect in the box were it usually says Full Combo and AAA'd emotion (btw if anyone wants a pic i will take one and show it) took me a couple of tries though)

I just passed the 5 Snow on Normal

This game makes me want Konami to make another i bet im not the only person

Just bought Beatmania US last night. I highly recommend it... I had never played Beatmania until I just bought this and the beginner songs arent *that* hard... the songlist is pretty cool too (for a US mix)

Love Is Dreaminess is by far my favorite song on the game... I can't get enouigh of it. Close seconds include Jelly Kiss, Outer Limits, Battle Breaks, I Was the One (I love the synth in it, it's so much fun to actually crank out this tune after playing it in DDR for the past 2 years). I'm officially ticked off at e-motion (I can AA or A everything in the 1-3 range now, but e-motion 1* I can't do ANYTHING with. I finally got it up to a B, but seriously... and Stop Violence is a D... is it just me or is this off sync like crazy?

BTW... I think my favorite videos are Outer Limits and Jelly Kiss... They're just fun. Jelly Kiss'es makes me laugh everytime her face suddenly pops up on the screen... they're also very fun to play.

Also, I currently have pretty much everything in 5 key A'ed. I have Ska and one of the sixes (I forget which one) left to A, and 321 Stars is just a smidgeon from being an A. I'm working on 4-6's in 7 key... depending on the song and why its rated that high. It looks like from 6 to 7, and then to eight, and then to nine, and finally to ten, the jumps get much larger. For me going from 3* to 4* wasn't that hard... but it looks like the difference between songs at the top is just.... insane.

I just Completed Spin The Disc Normal And working on completeing the final song on Normal and its not colors lol its v i get confused in the middle of the song

i just AAA'd With That Perfect Word Again E-motion Normal Now all i need is to get that stoopid AAA with the word perfect on Hyper and ill be happy

5.1.1. another was only hilarious when anothers didn't have separate ratings and it was a 1* on 7k

I got my copy tonite from EB and as a true beatmania newbie, I am enjoying it thus far.

First, thanks to Alpha for the wax paper mod for the turntable. It works great.

Second, in my first game of IIDX, I played emotion beginner after hearing about how poorly it is synced. I AA'd it. I was pretty happy. I'm still in the 1-2* range after my first ever IIDX session.

I love the Toxic remix. It definitely makes up for the horrid Oops! remix on EX2/Strike.

Looking forward to playing more.

e-motion is only hideously offsync on Hyper, Another, and 5Key.

Try some of the 5Key songs for messed up timing.

It's sad that I can't raise some of my passes beyond C's because of the massive Good attack. Stop stop stop stop stop stop the violence! 'cause I'm feeling rather violent after having three times as many Goods as anything else.
