I pre-ordered it in full (over time, with trades and the sale of a few of my music cd's) and they still don't have it in. No one in the region has it.

What craptastically obscene basturds they are!

This is why I don't normally pre-order less mainstream stuff from them and usually go with the EB Las Vegas place.

I've FINALLY got it! My dad went into town, so I gave him money to get it for me cuz I called GS & asked if they had it (took about 5 minutes for him to check) & they had ONE LEFT. So about 9:15 PM he comes home & he says "they sold it" & a few seconds later, he shows the bundle & says "THEY SOLD IT TO YOU!". Only got to play for about a hour (skool night...), but I've gotta admit, this is one GREAT game. So far, the hardest I can do is MGS Theme (I ALMOST passed Battle Breaks w/ 78%)......Just for fun, I tried 321 Stars on 5 key............I failed within seconds.

I thought of calling myself "DJ PWNED N00B" after that......But I'm making progress (on 5 key. Haven't tried 7). Plus, it's Tuesday, so I get to bring it to youth group & show off my DJ skillz.

The six(yes, six) closest stores were fresh out and not expecting any more. I nabbed the last one in an EB a few towns away. Friggin' lucky!

Apparently what I said isn't true anymore. Montreal QC FutureShops have the game apparently, as well as a local store which ships all over Canada, probably at a small premium.

But of course Ontario, southern Ontario, the freakin' GTA of all places, doesn't have it at all.

Figures is all I say and yes it is very annoying. Let me know via pm when you get your copy ok?

I found mine in an EB - they had 3 left.

It rocks. I love it to death. E-motion is so horrbly off...

And I can't figure out how to switch turntable sides. I'm not lefthanded but I'm curious.

Update: all Toys R Uses in Canada should have it now. Expensive of course but since EB is negligent, they'll get my money.

Hopefully tonight. I have to work OT because it's month end and I'm an accountant.

EDIT: I've been told by my local EB that they're expecting to get the game in tonight. About ddrfreakin' time! So I don't need to cancel my order and just get it. However, mark my words folks I'm not ordering at the store level any time soon (besides I don't have any games I'm willing to trade in anymore!)

Although I have several imports, I decided to buy the game (for more then just the controller). I will say that the game is an excellent introduction of BM/IIDX into the American market. As a not-new-to-the-series player, I will also say that the game lacks a large number of stepping stones towards the higher end of the difficulties. I am at a point where I have 3 songs left to clear on hyper, and a fair number of songs left ot clear on another. It feels like once you get to the 8* difficulty, it becomes difficult to progress. Hopefully, however, people who aren't importing will get to see a sequel before this becomes a problem for them.

Wow, practice really does make perfect with this game.

I failed Mr. T Take Me Higher, and Jelly Kiss Hyper miserably, then after doing them over and over in Free Mode I eventually passed them. "fly through the night" on the other hand. Back to free mode...

I ordered mine about a couple weeks before release on amazon (day before it changed to the correct price) so I got it for $40, but arrival estimate is May 3. Pretty annoying considering the site says it ships in 24 hours if you order it now. Anyone else had the same estimate and gotten it early? Still, $20 is $20, so I cant really complain. Just been waiting on this for awhile.

I picked it up last night and when I got home my wife and the lil un were sleeping so I couldn't play it last night! (PS2 in bedroom with our only TV)

Thankfully lilun wakes up at 6:45 like clockwork EVERY morning so I got to try a few songs. My wife, as expected, was "WTF the songs sound weird?" and I said "You gotta play the notes perfectly to have the song play perfectly" and she said "WTF?"

I played 5 songs total, got totally owned on a 3 in 5 key (like totally drop to 0% and go up and down a few points from 0% to finish at 6%.). I then tried a 7K 3 star with autoscratch and Easy (yeah I know!) and got 68%.

My turntable is definitely hard to turn but it's not currently a big deal.

My best grade was a C on Overblast on 5K, first song. So yeah, not very good -- need to familiarize myself with the controller. Perhaps sleep with it a few nights will loosen it up.
