it dosnt seem as if there are any copy protection is place.
IT looks as if its the same method as the PS2 version.

Could you just replace the files with the PS2 files and get it to work then? o_O

To confirm, the only achievable unlocks are 5 and 6. Unlocks 1 through 4 do not exist.

I'll buy it just because of the polished feel to it. I like stepmania but something official is even better. At least you have someone to complain to when something's broken.

Also, what about a Linux version? Stepmania runs on linux and ITG2 is linux based, so I can't imagine that it would be really hard to recompile for Linux.

I tried it.
My computer isn't good enough to handle it since it lagged whenever a freeze or flurry of arrows showed up on screen. The music select lagged tons for me too. But that's probably just my computer at fault, not the game.

Other than that it had a really polished feel to it.
I also like how the unlock was explained with what Triggered it. I usually hate when I unlock something in a game and don't really know how the heck I did it.

In the Practice Menu one of the options is "play burrent beat to end".

Oh, and I played around with the syncing for a minute or so. I have it at -75 and it's a lot better, but I think it needs to be even lower.
