Yeah, Gamestop here in PC said that it got delayed until tomorrow, same with Best Buy, Toys R" Us, and K Mart, Wal-Mart doesnt know anything as usual. Wal-Mart will be getting their shipment in at around 3:30 cst, so ill call back then.

I can't even get in touch with my EB games to check. The user is busy apparently...

I'd severely doubt that I'd have mine before many of you but you know, it's conceivable.

As to regional managers picking up a game at an airport or depot on shipping day (yesterday) yes it is possible and does happen. In fact, I got Dragon Quest VIII one day early thanks to that manager whereas much of Canada was getting it next day.

I was a happy camper for that one.

Why can't they just say that the release date is 2/30/o6 all along and give us a break so we don't have to drive ourself crazy with checking up every hour.

I just called Game Crazy about half an hour ago and they don't have it. It gets really irritating because i've been waiting for it since yesterday. I pre-ordered it and i think people who pre-order should get their stuff first and not on the same day others do. i wonder if i can get my money back from Game Crazy? has anyone ever done that for like a game deposit?

Confirmed with my local Gamestop (Newark and Glasgow, Delaware area) that they will have Beatmania on shelf tomorrow morning at 10 am EST. They're already selling KH2, however. I think it's just a simple factor of where you are in relation to the shipping place, and how many your store ordered.
Sadly...I will also be waiting an additional day.

yeah a friend of mine texted me saying there woudl be another delay. im not sure if i should pick up KH tonight while im in the area or wait until tomorrow during my break between classes and go over to get both. it would be obvious if my Pop'n controller didnt come yesterday

Checked Gamestop when I picked up KH2, they said no.

Went next door to Toys R Us, they checked in the back, and I was surprised when she brought one out for me.

Hmm... I doubt it will be me who unlocks stuff first. I'm not good at the game. I've been playing DDR for 4 years now, but the closest IIDX machine is 2 hours North.

I edited the original post with picture proof.

I'm a little thrown off by the clunky presentation, but the gameplay seems to be in tact. It's incredible how much harder BM is than DDR.

So I'm unfamiliar with BM.

I know there are mods. It seems there is a mod to make the song more challgenging. How exactly does that mod effect it. I am talking about an option seperate from difficulty changing, you have to hit start to select it.

Also, some songs are too slow, and I'm a little confused as to which hi-speed I should be using for each. Does each one basically multiply the BPM, like 2x would in DDR?

Didn't personally realize the box would be so big too, unless you're 8 which I'm sure isn't right according to your pic.

^ not meant to be offensive, just an observation about the size of the box. I guess it's not quite as big as my PIU box but it'll be fairly close I figure, just long and skinny.

Other news: I've finally reached the silly store and the guy just said, we'd call you at home if we had it. If we haven't called you it ain't in yet.

To which I said (I'm not home you zombie I wanted to know if you got it so I could come on the way home from work.)

That's just the day crew there are the present -- perhaps if I wait until 5:30pm it'll be the girl who knows me by name (am I there a bit much? nah, that can't be it) and I can ask her to peak out back for a copy. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in this city who has preordered this -- I'll be able to tell for sure if there's even a few spare copies on the shelves this weekend. Games that aren't well known or even expected to sell well won't be on the shelves in favour of Madden what have you and so many other crap games.

I hung out at my GameStop for a while today. Apparently their new UPS guy sucks at life, so he came late. Then it turns out Beatmania wasn't in the shipment. I had the guy there call another GameStop, which said that they didn't get it in either, and won't get it in until tomorrow. They said they think it was shipped 2-day instead. They got all their Kingdom Hearts II stuff today though. That pisses me off, I want my beatmania! =P

Although, if the rumors here are true, maybe it was shipped FedEx. I'll call GameStop up later today. I called Toys'R'Us and they didn't have it, but the girl there was a replacement, so she didn't know anything at all, I might see if I can get her to go into the back for me. =)

I checked at Fry's Electronics. Unfortunately, they hadn't gotten it in yet. The lady there said she frequently gets games in late, and it wasn't even on the lists of games that should be coming in. She said she didn't know, but the truck comes at like 4, but they often don't get games in until Thursday.

I called BestBuy, and apparently its "In Transit", but that means it'll be coming anytime in the next week. He also checked and there's no copies anywhere nearby. (I'm in Orange County, California)

Target didn't have any either.

Yeah, I'm desperate for the game. I have family from out of town coming tomorrow morning, so I won't be able to play it until next week. Except I'm free today, so if I can get my hands on a copy, I can play for a good 12 hours. =D

That requires a copy of the game though. No luck so far.

PIU box being big? I think you guys are exagerating lol. A DDR bundle if I remember correctly is a little bigger and GH has a long box lol for obvious reasons. They probabl made it that fat because of the foam inserts to make sure it doesnt arrive there broken.

Im hella dissapointed at my EB too, they treated me like uhhh....its somewhere in the back, comeback like in another hour. PFFFT Its like a 20 minute drive from there to my house.
