I lost 70 pounds.

DDR for an hour and a half (8-9 footers constant)

1200 Calorie diet.

No fast food.

I was also on the Today Show w/Tanya Jensen (on getupmove.com)

Gained 20 due to inactivity and school in the past year.

I shall lose it again in one month, since I'm done with school.

Anything is possible.

Well im skinny already but I have lots of cuts and I noticed since I neglect my legs in workouts that when I DDR I have been building leg muscles and they are becoming tone. I mean I play for fun but it just takes it toll on you when you play for hours and hours with no stop.

I lost over 100 pounds playing DDR and dieting. I didn't change what I ate, just how much. So you can eat fast food for every meal, but if you keep it under 1500 calories you will probably lose weight. It's not the healthiest way to lose weight, but it is the most enjoyable.

I've been hearing a lot of tales of success with DDR as a weight loss tool, but I've never seen a full picture of what it takes to lose weight with DDR. I've been doing an hour of DDR a day Monday - Thursday every week for over a year and I've shaved off about 20 pounds, but others seem to have much more success. I'm sure some of you must have had some success losing weight with DDR So I have a few questions for you.

How long do you play and how often?
Do you make any changes to your diet?
What's the best level for weight loss?
Any other tips?

Anything anyone has to offer would be welcomed. :^)

I lost 60 pounds playing DDR. 265 to 205...that's meeee

Considering the average fast food meal will run you about 1200-1500 calories (burger, fries, pop) x 3, thats 3600-4500 calories a day. Keep in mind about 3500 calories = 1 lb of fat.

Ew.

Ew.

And fast food has so much grease and trans fat and sodium and sugar...even if you don't eat a lot of it, it's still horribly unhealthy.

Yeah, I never said you could eat very much fast food laugh.gif . I just had like chips for breakfast, chocolate bar for lunch and a normal supper. I find that snacking is what used to get me.

dumbass remarks aside, running does help to play ddr. a combination of that plus DDR is a great cardio workout. i haven't done DDR in a while on account of the fact my house is getting remodelled (remodel = no shower area = no exercise/DDR time frown.gif ) but by experience i've been able to practice various amounts of standard/heavy gameplay modes without my legs getting tired easily, which eventually allowed me to lose more weight.
