Please God, no VerTex Cubed.

I really want to see them pull the regular version of Summer into ITG3. Get a kind of CSFIL and CSFILSM thing going on.

I'd like to see that too. I think they could make a good 12 stepchart using summer regular. Unfortunately, it'd probably be a lot like delirium cause that's how the music goes in my head.

ew. Remixing disconnected, the blatant rip off of paranoia, over and over again like...oh...say paranoia. I like alot of things about ITG but that pisses me off.

Vertex^3? I'll never undestand why you would want vertex^3

Making the "hard song" just a different rendition of the previous mix's "hard song" is a ddr trend with the max's. Instead they should just do what they are doing, and make new and different high level songs.

Think about it, they wouldn't make vertex 3 any easier, and they wouldn't make it the same foot level. So it would most likely be the first "14". This would mean they would have to turn an already ridiculously insane chart even more insane, because it has to breal the barriers of a 13, and stand out as a 14. Which means faster runs, more jacks, and a ridiculous part in the middle that makes you just stop trying.

a faster version of V2 would sound even more retarded. Musically, vertex is an ok song, but imo, v2 butchered it. But who knows, they just might do it. blink.gif

I wouldn't mind a 14 to be the hard song of ITG 3, as long as roxor also added atleast one 13 and a bunch of 12's

I can totally agree with this. I don't have much else to add other than this.

As much as everyone is like OMG MORE HARDER SONGS PLZ!!1!!1, one thing I like about ITG PS2 (I presume ITG2 is similar but don't really know) is the fact that I can play for an hour and a half (My typical session length) and not even touch all the 9s in the game, which is about where I'm at skillwise right now. I'd like to see them keep that up, frankly.

I don't mind remixes too much, but I'll admit that overmixing a song gets annoying. Vertex^3 would start a trend of people expecting a Vertex per mix (DDR players expect a new Max per mix and they've kept that pattern) however, I think it would be more creative to remix songs that aren't 13's already like once and make them harder or just better (fun-wise or music-wise lol) versions of the songs such as. Here's what I mean:

Absolute Pandemonium = Dumb idea
Vertex^3 = Trite

However

Infection (Bigbeat Mix) at an 11 or 12 = More creative (180 BPM)
Go 70's Go (Disco Mix) at probably an 11 = Catchy alternative. (150 BPM)

Anybody else agree/disagree?

Those two you listed seem like damn good ideas to me. i think I would like dancing to new remixes instead of remixes of remixes.

And also about whatever the new boss song is going to be in ITG 3, does anyone else like the fact that FINALLY a boss song (summer) was released that does not have a real dark depressing type mood to it. I liked how summer had more of an upbeat mood to it, and I hope this is kept for ITG 3

Stop! and Go sounds like it could have a pretty sweet Ex stepchart. I would also like to see Disconnected Hazard, because I think it could make a wicked 12/13 stepchart, but I'm not exactly counting on it.

We don't need that many remixes or ITG will start turning DDR-esque. We have two serieses right now - Vertex and Disconnected. We don't need to start remixing others. Although I would love to see some "vintage" songs in ITG3 - preferably Petrification, Indulgence, Duality, and some other non-used KeeL songs. It could form a Vintage maraton course.

And it would be totally tits if they could put some full version KeeL songs on there - preferably Duality, Oasis, blah. I'm bored.

Disco is almost all in the 110-130BPM range. Same with big beat.

However, if they got the BPMs straight, those would both be pretty cool. I hate Infection, but I have to say that melody would work pretty well as a Big Beat song, and well... everyone loves Disco.

Taking a sample from a song does not = getting ripped off. Energizer sounds nothing like any of DM Ashura's songs. And don't say "ZOMG neoMAX." because that's a remix of MAX 300.

Nintendo took the sound samples of "THE FLY!" and "FEAR" from LoM (and also "THE BIRTH", "THE AGE!" and "THE DEATH!" from Boundry on IIDX 10th Style) to put on a song in F-Zero called Blood Falcon. It happens, get over it.

Uh, they probably didn't take the samples from DDR. A lot of this stuff can be found on sample CDs.

Things that don't need a remix:
Pandemonium 13
Euphoria 12
Vertex 12
Energizer 13
Summer 13

These songs will maintain quality if left alone.

Things that do need a remix:
Any song that fell short of a 10
Any song that has no expert chart

These songs deserve the remix because they are reasonably able to increase challenge and not duplicate others.

Could use a remix or a new chart
Any Disconnected
Any Vertex
Any July
Most 9's not mentioned
A few 10's not mentioned

Just my opinion. Can't wait for the PS2 release of ITG2
