Check out Mike Quaintance's groovestats under the name "Lil Q (no bar)". While he's "only" got a star on Summer, he's got some tripstars on some 11s, and some other pretty good scores. Without the bar, he's still better than 94% of the people on Groovestats without even trying that hard (most of those scores are sightreads). |

yeah only 6 days ago you'd consider a 95 on While Tha Rekkid Spins and a 94 on BYM two of your best no bar scores? (vertex one is obviously fake)... You claim you can S+ a 13 no bar (after only playing it once of course) yet one of your best scores is not even a * on a moderate 9 footer?  My best no bar scores on those two are in the 97.xx range.... BYM I have a 97.85.... and I can only pass two 12's, Delirium I have one pass under my belt inn the 70's, Vertex in the early 80's... Still need to pass Hardcore Symphony and Pandemonium Hard... Man I can't wait to check out some of your previous posts to see what other lies I can dig up.

Try replicating JSB's technique Cyberstorm; it uses the bar. If it's not a skill, you should be able to do it.

Bullshit... you can't sightread, no bar that at an S+, i dont think anyone could(i'm assuming that would be no bar considering you are doggy about it)
I have no barred almost everything(only one i dont think i COULD do is determinator)
Seriously... its not that impressive if i can do it, passing stuff isn't impressive at all... i want to see high 99's on 12's and 13's regardless of how they are acheived(mods/bar) THATS whats impressive(for me) |

First of all, I don't believe you and neither does anyone else. Even if you were telling the truth, you'd still have no room to talk. An S+ is a much, much lower score than a Triple Star. |

Xuxa on Expert is currently the hardest song I can pass without a bar (about 74%), but I'm confident that I have the potential to pass more difficult songs, probably some medium-difficulty Expert 11 footers.

i'm not bragging. I know i'm not even close to the best and i'm content with that. Trying to shoot down my scores isn't going to do anything to hurt my pride.

hey dumbass, when did i say those were my best scores? If i tried a little harder WITHOUT a bar i could probably do a little better, but not much. WITH A BAR, I S+ summer, once. I haven't played for abobut 3 months, so now, i don't even know if i'd pass it. But once again, I never said I did summer WITHOUT a bar. Way to go.  |

In a "post the hardest songs you can do without the bar" you post a score of 94-95 on a moderate 9 footer. Need I say more? If you got 94-95 on Summer WITH bar (well exuuuuuuuse me), then there is no way in hell you'd consider While The Rekkid Spins one of the "hardest songs" and you'd most certainly have far above an S+ on it, bar or no bar. End of story.

I never said that you were bragging (even though you were). You claimed that a Triple Star (99% or above) on a 13 footer was not an impressive score. To justify that statement you mentioned that you'd sight-read Summer and got an S+. I merely stated that you can't use that score as justification (regardless of it's "I just pulled this score out my ass" status) because there is a giant gap in difficulty between getting an S+ and getting a Triple Star. |

Let me tell you something. I worked hard for about a month just learning to use the bar. Back when I first started playing ITG, I could pass several 10s and, with a lot of practice, a few of the 11s, and VerTex and Euphoria expert. I knew that, if I got good with the bar, it might help me tackle songs like Xuxa expert.
Too bad that, when I tried raping the bar, I failed 7s.
Seriously, raping the bar threw off my style so much that I couldn't pass 7s. It took me a lot of practice just to get used to holding the bar, like "ok, let's hold the bar and try to do a 5," to get used to using the bar. Without that, I'd still be playing no-bar.
Since then, I've gotten a lot better, both at bar and no-bar play. I can full-combo VerTex expert, and I think I've gotten two NCs no-bar. I FC'd Reactor and Habanera 1 double expert, no-bar except for the end of Reactor. I've passed Destiny now, which I still can't do without the bar.
But don't you ever say that using the bar doesn't require skill. I was FCing 10s long before I could pass them with the bar, because playing with the bar is something you have to learn.

My timing in ITG sucks, and I never really got it, I don't play consistently enough. There are a few songs I play alot, and on those songs I score alot higher than others, even if those other songs are easier. I have no problem doing fast streams of basic patterns (songs like energizer pandemonium on hard, summer speedy)and get higher scores. For some reason on songs with less steps I'm off timing. I don't know why, I just am. Here's an example.
My score on Energizer a month or two ago...
My score on Wanna Do around that same time period.
inconsistency. People see inconsistent scores and immediately accuse them of being fake. Your scores are usually consistent when you play periodically. I just don't play as much as I would like to. |

You got 90% on Wanna Do (or 96% on Energizer) and SIGHTREAD over 94% on Pandemonium?
...are you joking me?
For comparison, I sightread Wanna Do at 96% and it took me about twenty tried to even PASS Pandemonium with the bar. I had 65%.
Is your name Matt300? You want us to believe you got 90% on Wanna Do and sightread a score that is in the top twenty or twenty five IN THE WORLD on one of the hardest songs in the game?
Why don't you try playing it again maybe you will Quad it?
