Okay, for Christmas I got my second RO pad in a year and it was working just peachy. About a couple weeks later the down arrow started to go, and from there the left one...now all of them just work when they feel like it lol. It gets really frustrating for me when I fail songs that I know I can AA normally. So my question is this: Is there any possible way for me to fix my pad, or am I out another RO Ignition? _________________

Don't take the risk, get a BNS Xtreme and salvage your Ignition foam to put inside. Luckily, my Ignition 3.0 is one of the sacred few that actually lives up to the RO quality they once had. _________________

I had this same problem and I was able to somewhat fix it. Mine works better, but not at all like it did originally.

You can see in the pictures what I found when I cut it open, and how I fixed the contacts with some tape and replaced the swiss-cheese-foam stuff. I followed a tutorial that I found by searching google and this site.
Ultimately you will have to get a new pad though. :hs: |
