Here's my idea: guess the previous poster's puzzle(s), and post three DDR songs that have something in common. Here's three triplets of my own: (the difficulty indicates the difficulty of the puzzle)

Beginner - CANDY(star), Kakumei, Dance Dance Revolution
Light - Healing Vision, ORION.78 (AMuero MIX), La Senorita
Standard - 20,NOVEMBER (DDR VERSION), TRIP MACHINE (jungle mix), LEADING CYBER

1. CANDY(Star), Kakumei, and Dance Dance Revolution are all Extra Stage songs. CANDY(Star) is red in MAX, Kakumei is red in MAX2, and Dance Dance Revolution is red in EXTREME.

2. Healing Vision, ORION.78, and La Senorita all have hardcore speed remixes that debuted on Japanese home Versions.

3. I have no idea.

Here's mine:

BEGINNER - Cartoon Heroes (Speedy Remix), Speed Over Beethoven, IRRESISTIBLEMENT
LIGHT - Boys, Jump, Money
STANDARD - e-motion, Jam Jam Reggae, Overdoser

Here are my creations:

Beginner- [Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, Legend of Max]
Light- [Wild Rush, Sexy Planet, Drop Out]
Standard- [Dynamite Rave, Daikenkai, Paranoia Survivor MAX]
HEAVY!!- [MaxX Unlimited, Giudecca, Paranoia Survivor MAX]

Good f'in luck with the STD and HVY ones.

Beginner - All are liscenses from DDR 8th mix that appeared on DDR extreme 2 US
Light - These were songs that were on the original test version of 1st mix, but taken out before the game was officially released
Standard - All from 2nd mix club version 1 I think?

#Infinity - Beginner - They're all from that Speed G/6 or whatever set in DDR Extreme AC.
Light - Are they all licensed songs that appeared for one DDR mix?
Standard - All from Club v.1.

Max- Beginner - They're all 10s, boss songs, and on Legend Road.
Light - All have FNM Oni remixes on Max2.
Standard - All have Heavy and Oni stepcharts.
Heavy - I don't know, and it doesn't help I've never heard/seen Giudecca.

My own:

Beginner - Twinbee, Burning Heat, Polovtsian Dances And Chorus
Light - Higher, Long Train Runnin', Colors
Standard - Twilight Zone, La Copa De La Vida, The Reflex.
Heavy - Brilliant 2U, Paranoia Survivor, Tsugaru.

Beginner and Light are correct. For Standard, your answers technically are correct, but there's something even more specifically in common between all of them (think beyond DDR).

EDIT: Since it's stupid to have an answer that goes beyond DDR, I'll just let Asymptote get away with his answer for STANDARD. It's a completely acceptable answer. What I originally had in mind was that all three songs appeared in the very first beatmania. E13.gif

Not only all songs have Heavy + Oni, both of these charts have the same foot ratings (8/8 for Daikenkai, 9/9 for Dynamite Rave and 10/10 for PSM).

YES. You go, boy.

Beginner, Light and STD were answered correctly as well.

All that's left is the HEAVY question:
[MaxX Unlimited, Paranoia Survivor MAX, Giudecca]

For the record, all three of these include the sample of a female voice requesting: "Give it to me good!"

True, but not what I was looking for. Take a REAL CLOSE LOOK at every detail of each song and come back.

Max combo of 600 or higher? Slowdown and an L/R freeze in the middle? 8 feet on standard? (I have never seen Giudecca and cannot find a stepchart for it anywhere.)

FLCL wrote:

All contain triplets? (not sure about the last one)

Here's some:

Beginner:
Nori Nori Nori, I Do I Do I Do, Kiss Kiss Kiss (lol)

Light:
Kakumei, V, End of the Century

Standard:
Xenon, Yozora No Muko, Nori Nori Nori

Heavy:
Stoic, Sweet Sweet <3 Magic, Healing Vision (Angelic Mix)

Oni:
Spin the Disc, Paranoia Eternal, Cartoon Heroes

Extra Stage:
Aoi Shoudou, Frozen Ray, V

None of the answers are based on foot rating or the mixes the songs originally appeared on.

Quote:

All have three repetitive names in them.

Quote:
Kakumei, V, End of the Century

All remixes of existing classical songs.

All have an annoying stop in the middle of a note stream.

Extra Stage:
Aoi Shoudou, Frozen Ray, V
All have a nice, blue logo background?
