Music Forum?

I realize it's not needed, but it would be nice to have a music forum. There's enough music related threads as it is, and I'm holding back on making threads because I don't want to swamp the boards with "Schupo wants new music recommend some rap along the lines of ____ and ___ and ____", "Now Schupo wants some sexy music, recommend something along the lines of fiona apple and portishead" and "Now Schupo wants some grindcore recommend something along the lines of Terribleband1 and Terribleband2".

I realize piracy might be a concern, but it would be just as moderated as any other forum would be.

Maybe a discussion forum outside of random chat.

I've noticed it gets less serious every week.

EDIT: I didn't even add that this is a good idea. I like different catagories.

I'd be down for that. Maybe instead of just music, it could be a media forum (movies, tv and music). Just a thought.

Either way, if we make it, I so wanna mod that forum =D

I think that a seperate media forum would be a great idea. Media by itself is such a huge topic, I think it would help weed out Random Chat a bit.

Any word on this becoming a reality? Even if it a general media forum - computer software, television, movies, radio, music, etc, it would definately get filled.

"Media Forum" - I kinda' like it.

Of course, would this mean that we would have to merge the imaging forum into that, or still keep it separate?

CAUTION: LAPUTIAN IDEA AHEAD. Why not even have a "rotating forum" too? Something where the topic changes on a weekly basis.

I like this idea. It would be nifty, and random chat really needs to be weeded out. Within a day of no posts a thread goes to page 2.

Ok, is there any possibility of this happening? I really think that this would be a good addition. I myself wouldn't mind having a place where I could post my music and not have dumb responses from people who call my music crap just because it's not death metal, speedcore, or rap... ah the stupidity of random chat goers!

Plus I don't ever mind hearing other people's music, threads about movies, etc. It would be good to have a forum dedicated to this.

And Frozen Foods? I think us post-2002'ers need a history lesson.
