I bought this a little while ago off eBay, and because it has no instructions I can't egt the damn thing to work! When I plug in a PS2 controller though the red analog light lights up, but it does nothing! What do I have to do, does Stepmania not support mats?! Please help! |

Stepmania supports mats. It sounds like your pad works with the converter, but just needs to be configured to work. So I am assuming that you did not configure your pad in Stepmania yet, right? _________________

well your computer probably doesn't have any controller drivers installed. it's kind of like the case for the xbox. the driver CD that comes with the converter doesn't actually allow you to use the controller on the PC straightout. apparently you need a driver for the computer itself to recognize the pad. for xbox that would be the XBCD driver package, but i'm not sure what drivers are required for PS2 controllers. |
