It's coming out never. However, you might want to take Ex2 back to the store, get some money from it, and go buy yourself some intelligent typing ability. _________________

My Top 3 go to:
4th Mix and 5th Mix (tied)
Extreme (#1)
4th Mix gave us a cornucopia of Konami Originals in the last year of the 20th century (I'm well aware that you'd find it hard to believe that B4U is the #1 in-house original DDR song from that Mix) while it's also the last time we had ever played ALL X-treme songs, ALL Papaya songs, ALL 3 Olivia Newton-John cover songs, ALL 3 King Kong and D'Jungle Girls tracks, E-Rotic classics from 3rd Mix (Oh Nick Please Not So Quick, Turn Me On), a smorgasbard of Disco, licensed songs, and the last time we're ever gonna see The Specials-themed Little Bitch background, and obviously, anything pre-5th Smile.dk songs (Mr. Wonderful, Boys), and the formal introduction of Paula Terry.
5th Mix, meanwhile, gave us the poorly-executed Long Versions (which, by the way, is still going on in GFdm, mind you) , the incarnation of an in-house J-Pop Girl Band, BeForU, as it was also the last time we ever heard of JS16, Smile.dk, E-Rotic, and in addition, the introduction of 2 Unlimited, along with more songs that have tempo changes (a tradition since DDR Solo).
Extreme, as its name suggested, is the best that Konami ever gave us. Amidst the on-going rumors that it's the LAST and FINAL arcade mix to be ever done (Graduation, Dance Dance Revolution, to name a few), it highlights more on the in-house work all over BEMANI. Given that it has the most songs, it automatically is my favorite overall. _________________
BeForU was easily the heart and soul of DDR, until someone in Konami thought that it's a threat to the current structure (read: Konami's blatant overfunding of IIDX/pop'n). |

Extreme has OVER 50 9-footers, I didn't realize until I counted.
It also has 8 10-footers (PSM is 2 because of heavy and oni)
That's all I care about, I rarely do 8 or lower, unless I'm trying to PA, but I can't PA at an arcade well so I don't do it often. _________________

About Extreme: Don't forget, Heavy Doubles steps for the older songs that didn't have Heavy charts of doubles gameplay (Celebrate, R3, etc). Big reason to love Extreme for me. |

I personally like the 5th mix out of all the Arcade versions. A great blend of old 1-4th mixes with a touch of great new ones (well they were new at the time). Songs like Moonlight Shadow, Never Ending Story, Abyss, PARANOiA Eternal, and so on made the game worth wile (but thats just me). Plus the old song like my old time favorite song "Celebrate Nite" made it even better to enjoy (but again that's just me, lol). Now if only the game's graphics and timing was up to date and exact like Extreme, then I would play it more, lol. _________________

I just hope SN has all the 10s and stuff still in it... Otherwise it's still going to be Extreme for me. I just like Extreme for the song quantity, and the fact that it has most of everybody's favorites in it. _________________

My fav is DDR 3rd MIX PLUS, because I have lots of good memories of when I played it. It was not the first, but it's my fav. |

I have played other DDR versions, but I think the first versions are the still good and better than the last DDR AC versions. |

4th Mix
It was my first mix and was an awesome mix for me as a beginner. Kick the Can was my first maniac song. Good old times.
I liked probably 90+% of the songs in it. Nowadays I'd only like about 30-40% of songs in the newer mixes.
And 5th mix is pretty cool too since it has alot of the 4th mix songs. Good stuff. _________________
