Unfairly Ranked?

When I play DDR, i made a perfect combo and all exept for 8 Greats were perfect...I GOT A D!!! Is it just me or is the rating system needs to be less strict? Im giving it all and i get slapped with a big orange D...but i guess the star is suppose to cover it up... not really.

You must of had Little on AKA made it so only 1/4 arrows appear. That's why. Less arrows, fewer points.

Or you were in Training Mode on a home version and only did part of the song. It counts (I think) all the steps you didn't play as Boos, even if they were outside the selected measures.

I'm guessing that's it since you mentioned the star, which appears in the PS2 Extreme and Extreme 2.

Yeah, it's either little or, more often than not, go to Options -> Workout Options -> Off or something like that.

Let me clarify it. I (FINALLY) beat PARANOiA and i got a full combo, but i only got a D. I worked and worked for that song, finally finish it, and it fells like it says; Star: Great Job!! D: YOU SUCK!!

i can try to play it and hook it up to my comp to get u one. But does workout mode affect the score?? (And yes, it the ps2 version of Extreme)

i really dont have much of a clue what i'm talking about on this, but i THINK the workout mode option thingie puts the song on little or something like that...it mite have been stated somewhere in the above posts.

I have some advice for you then: Don't play in Workout Mode. The calorie meter is way off anyways.

I'm saying it again.

You have WORKOUT OPTIONS on. Go to Workout Mode -> Play -> Workout Step -> OFF. If that doesn't work, come back.

I really doubt someone would randomly find little and turn it on. Paranoia doesn't have freeze arrows. You obviously did something wrong, because "FINALLY" passing it, yet getting a full combo with 8 greats... just doesn't happen.

srry i havent responded (waiting 24 hrs so i can oast again

) Well, yes, to my udder dismay, i was playng with the workout step option on!! I feel real bad now. I thought i was doing good by passing PARANOiA, etc., but now i have seen what true DDR is, i fell like a real n00b..i didnt even know it!! Oh well.. i at least i can do most song in standard without the workout step and get an average of a B. But i cant play any DDR today cuz for some reason, i played for about 1 hr. 30 mins. straight and now i feel very fatigued. So i guess till another day!
