It's just average if you kind of like RPG's but it has a really involved storyline, if you read Japanese it's spose to be amazing.

...and they don't have to. I entered "polovtsian background" (without quotation marks), checked "search for all terms", and bam - the first three results said the background was from Oz. It's not that difficult.

I was told multiple times (by people here and friends in Japan) that the game was absolutely TERRIBLE (the storyline was amazing, but the gameplay was horrid) and sold terribly in Japan, which is why Konami isn't even thinking about bringing the game over here.
