I don't know what you guys think about Frozen Ray but I know the most underplayed song is Max.(period) because its only on Extreme JP. I have reason to believe my favorite is unappreciated since I saw no one on this site other than me promoting it.

I'd have to say MIKENEKO Rock, Heaven is a '57 Metallic Gray (gimmix), Ska a go go, Crash!, On the Jazz, LITTLE doggy, Across the Nightmare, Jet World and the other rock/ska songs. They may not have the best steps, but they are fun at least for me to play. It seems that people ignore them and focus more on the techno, pop and serieses like the Paranoias and Maxes. erm.gif

1998, not saying that people don't appreciate it or anything, I just think it should be a bigger deal, because its like a tribute song to DDR itself, well that and the song Dance Dance Revolution laugh.gif

Everyone I know in my arcade hates GRADUISTIC CYBER (AMD G5 MIX) for some reason... I think it's a great song, and the steps are really fun to get into.

Because that step pattern is garbage, especially to PA.

I would say Flash in the Night because most people who are new to DDR have never played this before. Since it was only in DDR Max 6th Mix for the PS2 and the Arcade. It's a hard song, but with fun steps.

It might sound a lot like Dam Dariram, but even thought it came along later, I've always thought Bye Bye Baby Balloon was superior, in music and steps (not that Dam Dariram is bad in any way, it's also a favorite of mine). Really, all the songs that were in Max and didn't make Max2 are underrated, in my opinion. Still in My Heart Momo Mix is my personal favorite of all the Oni remixes, but it hardly ever gets played around here. Little Boy has a fun, and really challenging, step chart, and just because of the name alone nobody I know plays it. My Sweet Darlin' has some fun steps as well.

As far as older songs, when we had a 5th Mix here, nobody ever played Cat's Eye or Shooting Star. I wanted to beat them about the head and neck with a large trout. Boys (Euro Mix) is really fun, and can catch you off guard if you aren't prepared for it.

Sorry about the long list, but there's just a lot of songs that I never see people play that I absolutely love. Actualy there's a lot more, but most of them have been mentioned in other posts, so I won't bother.

I love Furuhata's Theme from 4th Mix, but everyone prefers Rhythm and Police! I'm also considering Destiny Lovers to be underrated since it's such an awesome song, yet it's treated as merely average by most players.

For some strange reason, some of the songs I love are underappreciated.

In my list, these would be:

B4U, Love Shine, Mikeneko Rock, Pink Rose, I'm Gonna Get You!, Midnight Blaze, 1998, D2R, Destiny Lovers, etc.

Is it just me, or the GFdm transplants are the most snobbed?

I happen to like "The Reflex," even though few other people seem to. I like my new wave and I like the steps.

Definitely true... (trance sunrise mix) and Injection of Love. People seem to dislike those...

The 7 Jump doesn't get what it deserves. I find it to be very fun and catchy. Most people goog.gif all over it. 1,2,3,4 007 also should be played more. Very Very VERY FUN song!!

Aoi Shoudou is rarely mentioned like... ever. Steps might not rule, but the song is so pretty...

Ever Snow, Graduation, Absolute, .59, and whatever else deserve more attention because of the DDR character cuteness. Course, some of those aren't really underappreciated but still...

Also have to agree that Dam Dariram is underappreciated. One person I know hates that song... as well as Ever Snow.

Love Shine is abused at my arcade, though. Really, I go there and like everyone in this group of people plays it like... twice each or something. Including me, when I'm against someone else.

Mm... that's all I can think of for now. I normally play the songs that I hear other people playing, so I don't play many underappreciated ones...

I believe that the reason why both songs are hated by a lot of people is because while they're fun songs, they're extremely simplistic and seem to be targeted towards kids.
