DDR Dreams

Damn this thread, now I had another DDR dream. I dreamt that I was playing PSMO, but I couldn't see that screen until the death runs, and when I started the death runs, the pad turned into a bath tub so I couldn't move my feet fast enough. But I still passed it with 170 perfect, 0 greats, 100 goods, and 56 misses. Since when did PSMO only have 326 steps?

I've had a recurring dream where I'm playing on a DDR machine before that I've never seen, and I can't figure out how to play it because the arrow patterns don't make sense, or the pads are really really tall (meaning thick) and are illogical. Maybe through dream psychoanalysis it means something.

I had a dream about 3 weeks back. I was in a future where the shoes you wear, are all the same. Then I went to the arcade and saw an Extreme machine. I was watching this kid play, and I noticed. It kind of had a Super Nove Theme. (I didn't know of Nova at the time though.) It had memory card slots for PS2 and it eveysong, even some fanmade ones on Step Mania. Yeah. So I played with that kid. I picked first. We played Captain Jack. He said, "That song is soooo old!" Then we played some fanmade junk. I wanted to play MAX 300 next because I never knew I could pass it. (I never played that song on a pad before) I needed more money. (why I needed more money for one song is mystery) So, I ran around looking for money and a kid gave me some. I step on the pad got ready to play, ana I woke up. Now I'll never know if I can pss MAX 300.

I had a dream I went to my mall and found that we got a new mix: DDR Trash mix. It was predominately green from mold and brown from excess rust. I tried playing it, and the first time I stepped on a panel, my foot went through it. I was forced to go play the PIU in the back of the arcade, and I remembered getting so pissed off about it until I woke up.

I hade a dream tha i was at Chukey Cheeses ( I hate that mouse ) andther were 3 DDR machines. 1 of them was out of order, and another one was like a DDR RPG where you sat down to play. The last one had only 1 pad working but there was some chinese guy playin forever. I hope I NEVER go to Chukey Cheese again...

well, heres probably the best ddr dream i've ever had.

I was seen playing at a local arcade somewhere in the future(it felt futuristic!!) and i was playing and then this japanese chick came up and asked me if i wanted to play. So we played for a good 2 hours and started talking for hours. I stayed with her and then she told me she was going to japan and randomly invited me to go. So i went and there was some WORLD DDR TOURNAMENT she never told me about but it was the reason why i went. And so we both entered it and there were thousands of people in it. We both got to the last round and the song picked by random? Paranoia Max Survivor on Oni. It was a long song, but in the end i came out on top and won $1,000,000(sorry for my dreams not being authentic) and me and this japanese chick went on to live a happy life. Yeah i know i have amazing dreams.

and dont get me started on my Ayumi-Fanboy dreams.....

This was a daydream, since I never have nightdreams....

For some reason, we had this DDR Freak Convention to like meet everyone & play DDR & stuff. Thing was, we looked liked our avatars (since I don't know what you look like), so I was like Canti & Cutriss was like that cactus dude from DDR, only w/ the sunglasses, or by your username, so if someone had Sakura, they would look like that girl from the Sakura BG. If they didn't have an avatar, they just was some random anime person that appears in real anime that usually doesn't have a big part. & we were all hoping to see Mega Man X (as in the form of the video game character) & AAA PSMO. & for some reason, if anything happened, there'd always be a DDR song playing in the background, so if CSFIL(SM) was playing, that ment that...well...someone was in love w/ someone. & if the Whistle Song......let's not go there, actually. & if some serious song like the Max songs or PSM, that ment someone was in a cool, anime fight w/ someone else.

In the last few days I've had dreams of going to an arcade and seeing everything I could ever want in there. That includes DDR, IIDX, Pop'n, you name it. The first one I remember was going to some place and seeing a DDR machine with the only playable song being bag.

The second one had a DDR machine with only one pad (so versus was impossible on this thing). It also had Beatmania IIDX Red in it and IIDX 9th.

The third one was amazing. I went to an arcade and I saw Beatmania IIDX 14 (which makes no sense because there is no IIDX 14 yet). It had a Titantron-esque screen, and instead of standing, this thing had ACTUAL RACE CAR SEATS where you sat in them, and you tilted back to see the screen (which was at an angle like at a planetarium). Finally, the controls (keys and turntable) ROSE UP from the seats so you could reach them. This dream went on long enough so I could play some songs on this thing, but the only one I remember playing was a remix of Outer Limits. There was a DDR machine at this fantasy arcade thing, but it was on an angle (like skeeball machines) so I couldn't imagine the players sticking to the steps at such an angle like that.

I had a fourth one, but it had nothing to do with DDR. It had a Pump it up machine with an audience of people in chairs around it cheering the soccer mom playing it.

I'm not making any of this up here.

I had a dream I went to this arcade that had some weird DDR/Beatmania hybrid with only one song..."Love Love Sugar" and I cranked the volume and blew the speakers out in the arcade then the manager yelled at me. There was also an ITG/Pop'n Music hybrid and I played some weird song on that.

Another dream I had involved looking for DDR machines in a giant store and there was signs that said "this way to DDR" and I followed them but I woke up and never found the machines.
