Maybe it's just me, but I really don't think this is legit mainly for the reason of the websites.
The main web page is hosted on pitas, which is a free webhosting site, and the movie poster is on freewebs, which speaks for itself. Most movies would at least be willing to pay some cash to get a domain name. I mean, I don't think I've ever seen a movie site that wasn't a domain, or at least hosted by the company that actually made the film, or sponsored it.
But again, maybe it's just me.

I remember reading about this and seeing this website about a year ago. I am very surprised its even still around, I was expecting them to give up on the project. But yeah, Im pretty sure its legit, but you'd think some of the people working on it would be on this very website promoting it, getting audition members, all around hyping of the movie, etc etc.

... sorry. Yuki is like... several other characters, one being a guy from Frutis Basket.

Erm... anyone else rather have a movie like this animated rather than live action? And this may just be me, but I say the Zukins should be different people... watching people and making candy just... I dunno, never seemed to mix well, to me.

Lets see here. I feel its my sole duty as a hardcore long time bemani addict to *stop* this monstrosity from happening.
This is NOT directed towards the OP, but towards the idea in general.
1. You guys are basing a movie off of an ARCADE game, without concent of Konami.
2. The movie features property of Konami besides the game in whole (Carachters and Bio of carachters).
3. 18+ Goes against one of the DDR ideas, which is a fun game for all ages.
4. If this movie is actually made, it will bomb, and since it will bomb, people will think LESS of the game then they allready do.
5. THIS JUST IN. DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION != DANCING.

Wow... this again? There was a thread on this from like 2 years ago... For those who seem a bit gullible... This ISNT official at all!!! It was going to be a fan made movie but from what I hear it really sucked and they didn't have the time anymore so they stopped it.

Besides, this would be like what they are doing to Halo: taking a game a bit TOO far!

Yeah, as some other people have already said, this movie will most likely suck. IF, that is, it actually makes it to theatres/DVD/VHS.. I think they need to abort..
