you should also try and get him into other rhythm games, I would suggest getting In The Groove for the PS2 but you have a japanese PS2 and it's only on US I believe. perhaps something else from Konami? just a thought. and I would also just like to comment that it's goos he is learning both japanese and english, I grew up learning spanish and english and I'm working on becoming fluent in japanese. if you teach him japanese in the house and he learns english at school he should be set, now I'm just ff topic, but tell him ditto thinks he's amazing!

Thanks. Actually, he likes music games. As Mr. 12yearsold stated, he plays Taiko No Tatsujin (Drum Master). And Guiter Freakes. I think groove is not available for Japanese hardware. Taiko is so so but GF is just poor. Anyway, music game is fun so I'm enjoying his play.

I hope he speaks both English and Japanese. He goes to American preschool and we speak Japanese at home.

My Family Is the same way especially my grandma I speak only Vietnamese to her and my mom said she doesn't want the heritage to die so I visit Vietnam every few years just to visit my family there. Ryoto is lucky to have a father like you, I never grew up with my Dad. My parents divorced when I was a couple of days old.

Can't you teach him to play Beatmania IIDX? It's fairly easy I think lol ( I haven't played yet disgust.gif) Or Pop'n Music!

Mr.12yearold,
I'm not sure I'm a good father. Just I want to give him as many as opportunity if he feels interesting.
Some of my friends also have experience of parents devorced. It's a really sad. I'd like to send the word of "the people who has pain in their heart are happy because they know what they should do for their kids" to you.

Stoiber,
That's great! I hope she'll enjoy the game!!

It's possible. If your kid is a little advanced at an early age, he/she can pick it up quickly. Start them at 3-4 if they know whats going on around them, and sure they can do what this kid is doing.

That jump he does about 70 steps into this video to get his feet back into the right position for the next few steps is one of the coolest things I've seen in awhile.

That A Video was really nice- has he gotten a AAA yet on any song yet?

If he doesn't already know how to do cross-overs, you should definately teach him so he doesn't get into the habit of double stepping.

Ryota hasn't gotten AAA yet on any songs. He's aware of it recently from Yasu's AAA video at Aaron's site.
http://aij.ddruk.com/ddrvideos.html

Nowadays, he says "I missed!" when he sees his DDR video and got Great. He may try to get AAA. It's up to him.

I assume 'double stepping' is a step to back to center position then move. He does cross-overs but his leg is not enough long yet. So he does double step in some cases.
