That would be the best and most fun game Konami ever put out.

A really, really, really, really, really old video of Robo doing Classic 4 on a Pop'n Music 7 machine.

Wow, is it really that fun? Hmm. I hear people raving about it all the time, but i've never really seen one. Looks like a cross of Drummania and Come on Baby to me.

I would preorder Popn if they ever released it in the US. With BM coming out, you never know. I wonder how cheap it is to mod a PS2 now... that video inspired me to play Pop'N a while back, but I never actually got around to it.

Like I said before, if Konami ever had the huevos to bring (not to mention, market) the PoMu series outside of Japan, they have a better chance to sell enough copies and start a loyal fanbase by porting it over to the Nintendo Revolution (still a codename). Not because people think that Nintendo "is teh kiddie" but because the other next gen systems have wireless controllers with little to no option, as far as I know, for wired controllers. The Revolution does and if you think about it, those that are not in the know would think that the system is living up to its name with the PoMu controller anyway, thus leaving those same people in awe thinking "Wow, this game is pretty fun and I'm loving how you have to make the music with this controller!"
As a matter of fact, I'm gonna call it right now. We might just see a US Pop'n Music (with, I don't really hope, maybe a name change) in 2007.

Oh back on topic, yeah that guy's pretty good!

There was an American Pop'n Music. Pop'n Music 1 AC. It did horribly. But then again, that's probably because Pop'ns before about Pop'n 5 were pretty bad in every way.
