I'm not saying there is anything wrong or bad about the controllers. They could be very good.
But from may people that have told me about their past experiences, I don't know if I can order one from you guys. If I hear about an improvement in your customer service and shipping, then sure my thought will change. |

I've greatly improved my shipping times, and streamlined my assembly process to handle more orders at one time. The only time in the past few months I had a large delay to delay product from shipping in under three weeks was caused by my parts company, and not my own fault. Quality sometimes takes time, and I always try to make up for delays by including freebies like Bemani arcade trinkets (Eamuse cards, flyers, etc) or Japanese candy.
When you order from DA, you negotiate with, ask questions to, and receive your product handbuilt with the blood, sweat, and tears of one person: Me. There aren't very many companies (even outside of third party Bemani controllers) that you can say that about. When you order from me, you know you will get quality, and I strive to stick to my 1-2 week (sometimes three, if needed) window.
I'm building new boxes daily, and trying to build up stock so that I have stuff ready to ship within days; but this won't be in full effect until I have some money to buy the extra supplies, like a few months after I've been selling IIDX controllers.

PS, I would rather own one of your pop'n controllers because the Konami ASC isn't that great, but I still think the IIDX KASC is the best, just because it is just about arcade accurate as possible. |
Actually, the KASC is not arcade perfect. I have played on one almost minutes after playing on RED and I noticed alot of differences.
1. The key spacing is different. I don't know the specifics but I'm pretty sure that they are.
2. The ASC does not use sanwas, or for that matter, anything that feels like Sanwas.
3. The turntable is higher on the arcade machine than it is on the ASC.
I'm sure there is alot more, but I'm not exactly a pprofessor on the subject =P
Also, the DASC is built to improve on the ASC so why would you spend 200 some dollars more for worse buttons, worse spacing, arcade inacurate turntable specs and an overall inferior product? Plus, the ASC microswitches burn out after awhile, which means you might just be out of 500 dollars, whereas if somrthing were to happen with your DASC, Steve would be more than happy to help you fix it.
Also, Snapps, please don't bring your Arch0wl mentality over here, nobody appreciates it. |

So you want to pay 250 more dollars for an inferior product just because it says Konami on it?

How is the ASC built like a rock? It's plastic and can break alot easier than a hardened wooden box can.

Well I am positively sure you are wrong. I played on the ASC and the arcade back to back and noticed a difference. If you want to, go look at an ASC turntable an arcade turntable, they are very different. I can pull up pictures if you still can't see the difference. |

Just to let you know (from personal experience), I was working in my living room and had a large lighting fixture fall from the cieling onto my DA pop'n controller (knocking it off of its keyboard stand onto the floor). THEY. ARE. BUILT. LIKE. ROCKS. It broke my keyboard stand, which says alot considering this is my stand:

Just letting you know that you have nothing to worry about with the construction. |
