I can't believe this. ok, I was 216lbs (17 years old) on November 1st, 2005. Me and my friends had a contest called celebrity fat club to see who could lose the most weight in a month. With the help of DDR, I lost 29 lbs in November. Now december I pigged out and gained 8 pounds back. I stopped playing ddr and didn't work out for december. When the new year started I decided I wanted to lose more weight. I was at 191 on the 3rd of January and now I weigh 181lbs. I am so happy right now. I play like 1 and 1/2 hours a day now and I keep losing weight. I LOVE DDR!!! |

Just make sure you are eating enough or you might end up in trouble. I passed out while playing DDR last time I tried an unhealthy diet. Now that I am eating healthy and playing DDR 2 hours a day I have lost 56 pounds in a bit more than 10 weeks. _________________

if you dont eat, your stomach will shrink and you playing ddr will burn up your body for that extra energy.
if you do eat, you get that good energy and burn that extra fat. _________________

Whenever I play 6-7 feet songs for 30 minutes straight, I then slow down with a few songs 3-5 feet and then go take a shower because I'm a sweaty mess (I'm 32 yrd old 210 lbs) but by the time my shower's done I invariably have a nasty bowel movement.
If I don't ddr my bowels don't do what they do when I DDR.
Does anyone else have this happen? Say after 30 minutes of stopping DDR? _________________

actually, most of the time it´s just practicing some kind of excercise and moderating your eating habits that will make you lose weight
if ddr works as that exercise then that´s great _________________

When you regularly play 7's, 8's, and cata's, the pounds do come off. 5's and genuine's not as fast, so I'd suggest getting the skills up and going straight on heavy songs.
My poundage didn't go as fast, but it is gettin' out. Dropped 50 in a year and a half. |

Yes, any time calories burned is greater than calories consumed, weight loss can be possible. Just make sure you aren't starving yourself in the process. _________________

I eat like a pig, yet I am not fat. I have large muscles, yet I have low stamina. And DDR tires me. _________________

That only makes sense. Your muscles are adapted to anaerobic exercise. |

Oh, I know it makes sense. I was just stating the kind of "fitness" statistics that other people were posting. _________________

I guess the "yet" kind of threw me off. I got the feeling that you were confused, for some reason, when I read it the first time. |
