You DO realize that all songs in GF/DM (or, at the very least, GF) have the same scroll rate, right? You don't have to do any factoring in of the BPM. _________________

Yep. I didn't realize it at first either, but you can use the same scroll modifier on every song and they all go at the exact same speed. It's really nice. _________________

Correction: they're all the same speed in DM. In GF, it's just all over the place. Thank goodness for the Start + R/B speed change trick.

Even in current versions? I played about seven or eight full sessions of GF11 the other day, all on the same speed modifier and they all seemed to scroll at the exact same speed to me. O_o _________________

Weird. As far as I know, GF11 still has variable scroll speeds. I've never played V or newer, so maybe it's changed. The local arcade still has GF11, and there have been plenty of times where I suddenly realized at the beginning of a song, OH GOD IT'S TOO SLOW Start + BBB... ;-)
Compare Children's Sketchbook to Kaleidoscope sometime to really see the difference. Those two stand out in my mind as being a couple good opposite extremes.

I know there is guitar hero(heck i even own it) but i want to rock out to some beforu, because after heaaring some of there guitar freaks songs, im amazed. If Beatmania does well in the US, it's possible, I suppose. But currently there are no plans for that, no. _________________

Is it true that it was Yoma's influence why GFdm got some One Piece songs?
(According to her official page, she's a One Piece fan).
Otherwise, please guide the way. _________________

I just have one question in regards to Guitar Freaks V.
How do you switch the difficulty in the song select menu? Ya know, Basic, Advanced, and Extreme. _________________

Man, I hope GF get's over here. I mean, if Beatmania does good, just maybe.....Is there anywhere where I can listen to GF/DM music, besides DDRFreak Radio? Half of my wishlist is from GF & the other is IIDX. See, this is why I wanna live in Japan cuz they get ALL the good stuff. |

Try to find the original soundtracks from ebay...
You can play GF on PS2 too, what do you need are:
overseas version PS2($300?)
GFDMV release at 3/16($70?)
New GF arcade-style controller ($250?) |
