What's on your feet while playing DDR?

if i play barefeet at home on my crappy $20 pads they get stuck on the pad

I wore socks when I was using my RedOctane, but it is, sadly, passed from this earth.
I have a Chinese-made off brand hard pad that will rip your feet to shreds if you use it bare-foot.
So I bought some really lame geezer-slippers with rubber soles.

I can't LOOK more dorky with shorts, white socks and these stupid slippers on.

My torn up New Balance shoes when at the arcade,
socks when I'm playing at home
barefoot at home or at the arcade in the summer.

barefoot on my redoctane at home, new balance running shoes on my hard pad for when i start to feel like i'm getting stress fractures in my feet. still screwing up the courage to hit the arcades, but when i do, i guess any lightweight flexible sneaks that don't make me look like a gigantic toolio.

hahaha...i play in a cheap paor of shoes i bought from a farmers market for 15 bucks but they r super light and it feals like ur playing w/o any shoes...these shoes r super light like the weight of a CD!

I always wear my normal shoes, Stan Smith Adidas's. They work wonders being old school tennis shoes. Unless the bottoms are clean I notice a bit of slip. But most of the time it's the pads themselves that are dirty. Lucky for me the arcade has a brush to clean the pads.

my friend wears converse, but i think thats weird cuz when i played with converse i got blisers.this is her friend speaking now...so just 4 the record its GOOD 2 be weird.
