Kid Whatever is back with a brand new CD-R mini album: 6 brand new tracks and 2 bonus cuts. I just ordered my copy of Mongolian Grill, and if you like Kid Whatever / DJ Zombie / Takoyaki tracks in In The Groove, you should snap up a copy, too. E1.gif

He's got a whole website set up at the brand new Kid Whatever website. Check out the tracklist and order a copy!

You can also check out some preview tracks of the album.

As soon as I fix my PayPal account (I just recently moved) I'll pick up a copy.

On another note... I dig the "D-Code type" theme of Sashimi con Queso.

(Note from God: do not read this post if you are easily offended by editorial opinions regarding the musical compositions of a person that you've probably never even met.)

Oh, boy. A CD chock-full of repetitive psuedo techno music with stupid sound effects. This is Rock 'n' Roll will be mixed into every other song, and no one will notice.

It's only trolling if you BELIEVE it is.

I'm not going to say you're trolling, because you're welcome to have an opinion regarding the music. However, it sounds to me like you haven't listened to the samples available on the websites Plaguefox posted. I have mixed opinions on Kid Whatever's stuff overall. I'm not really a fan of Disconnected Disco, but I do like Go 60 Go and While tha Rekkid Spinz. I listened to the samples posted on his website, and I also feel that some of the music is a bit repetitive, but overall, I think the stuff on this CD is quite a bit different from his ITG stuff (aside from I Think I Like that Sound, of course). Really, I can't see how you could mix This is Rock'n'Roll into some of those songs and not have it be glaringly obvious.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but I have met Pete and I talk to him on a regular basis through LJ, AIM and MySpace.

And seriously, almost all of the In-House music from RoXoR is as you so consider "repetitive psuedo techno music with stupid sound effects". I don't see why Pete ends up getting all the crap from the fans. I love Kyle Ward's music too, but it is just as repetitive and pointless (if not moreso) as half of what Pete does.

Pete is trying to make his music interesting and catchy and all he gets is crap for it. You seem to be knocking this CD based on a few tracks from ITG that aren't the greatest (I'm not a huge fan of Disconnected Disco myself), but instead of even giving the CD a chance and maybe listening to the samples, you just automatically assume that it's "going to be the same shit all over again."

I have no problem with people that voice their opinions on subjects like this, but don't pass judgement before you've even listened to any of the music on the CD.
