DDR and relationships

i was just wondering if anyone has a boyfriend or girlfriend that likes ddr as well as you. because my g/f likes ddr and i think that it helps out our relationship.

I don't, but i know people who do.

think about this, do you two go to the arcade at a regular time with a regular group of friends. If so would it not be really awkward if you break up. As in, niether of you go to the arcade any more in fear of running into your X.

I'm just thinking to much as usual.

But to answer your question, yes, I do think it helps to be with someone who cares for (or at least can tolerate) your passtion for DDR

My girlfriend won a bunch of stuff in that Roxor Road Rally contest (she was the Queen of Light in that ridiculous photo).

Considering she is probably the most hardcore ITG/DDR playing girl that I've met, and I'm one of the most hardcore tournament players in California, I think that works out really well. She'll come support me at tournaments, we can train together, and almost all of our friends are mutual since we are heavily involved in the community.

Hehe... yeah DDR can make or break a relationship at times... depends on how competative each person is... I know it makes a friendship type relationship with one of my friends difficult for me at times because they are SOOOO bent on owning me... >_< but it can be quite nice in a romatic type relationship, certainly helps with the whole "what do you wanna do tonight?" scenario... XD

I actually met my boy friend because of ddr

it's awesome.

I think having a bf/gf that enjoys DDR as well is a good thing, because it's something in common. I don't think that your relationship should rely on it. It's a crutch, then.
