I think its great that you posted that! Really, it probably saved me a few broken arrows! I would have been sooo dissapointed
<p>
I just bought the TX-1000 on ebay and I'm really excited to receive it. I've been worried latley, however, I made a mistake and should have bought maybe a different brand? I'm sure it will hold me over until I can get two extreme arcade metal bar-in-back type pads. Hah- even though I'm *light* a beginner- I felt I was to good for crappy mats. I won't play on them. So I'll give you guys a review on my opinion on this mat once I receive it. |

Thanx a lot! Great guide!
I'll probably gonna buy a Tx-2000 this week or the next one (when the new shipment arrive). My soft my just isnt doing it anymore, i can play 95 % of the light songs and get an A or AA but when i try standard mode, i have crappy results with half of the songs, songs with triplets are the worst. |

My softpad survived for 2 weeks when the left arrow broke down.. After some 6 months i got a new one (Started in May and ordered a new one in November) it was a ignition style pad but now i have this and it just works great
You only have to get used to playing with shoes.. _________________

I think if you already ordered one, proceed with it cause the American TX2000 from eBay seem to be very bad. I think cause they are just 2nd hand. _________________

Since my Red Octain 2.0 Ignition pad craped out (up arrow wont work and it mis fires really pad), I'm thinking about getting one or two of these from Lik-Sang. I want to get as close to the arcade feel as possible so I figured this would be the best way to go (and I don't have enough money for a CF). I hear that their arrows crack sometimes, do you think I would need to buy an extra set of replacements? They already come with one set of them, but I just wanna make sure.
I'll also give a full review once I purchase it and have it delivered here to the states
Edit - Uhh, Nvm. Way too much shipping for me. I bought a brand new RedOctane 3.0 pad _________________

not for the tx series, they are manufactured by an annonomyous company with little to no internet presence, and none of the pads are carried by any gaurentee |

Well here it I bought a dance pad a metal dance pad about two months ago and it seems that my bottom arrow does not work at all. I already disarmed the bottom to see if the problem was that the aliminum foil was not touching the sensor anyways i know that not it. What can be wrong can it be the wires or the sensor can anybody help me no one i talk to sooo far has a clue of what to do!! Please email me or write back if u can help me or u can give me some helpful websites. Thanks to anyone that can help |

dont get a TX2000 its crappy! just buy a TX-6000 its much better. also dont buy TX3000 and TX5000 because they are very unsensitive and they are totally flat so its impossible to tell where you are without looking down. either get a TX6000 or buy a Cobalt Flux and make your own bar _________________

I have a bluespark 2006, it works fine for me, you just have to have GOOD balance, I myself have OK balance.
However, if this pad's arrows break or screw up on me, ill simply pre-order the arrow pannels, but this time I will use sheet metal or copper metal.
That is a good guide btw Jord, I will keep that in mind if something happens to my ddr pad.
See yaz bye. |

Thnx jjang, but I was gonna see if there is any decent metal pads (even without bar lol) for pretty cheap I mean I am only like 105-110 and i don't stomp so I don't crack arrows to bad. I mean it is just for home, but I dont want a crap pad. I might be able to get my parents to buy a pad that totals up to 200 (with shipping ) _________________

www.GameSoftinc.com has some incredible dance pads including the Tx-2000, which yes in my opinion do look extremely cheaply made, if your looking for a nice pad i reccommend the Tx-6000 hybrid, its $360 but WELL worth the money, the arrows are so sensitive you can play with one finger lol =D the bar is very sturdy too, i say if your going to shell out the money for a metal pad, you might as well make it a good one, the Tx-2000 doesnt look like it quite makes the cut _________________

I found the TX-6000 for $189 (250 with shipping) but my parents do want to buy me it, but seriously I deserve it lol
Oh well it looks like em gonna wait till Christmas
EDIT: Could you maybe buy the TX-2000 then buy new arrows for it if you wanted? _________________

everyines talking about how crappy the tx2000 is and to get a cobalt flux...i just watched some videos of it in action and it looks like a piece of crap. The thing SLIDES! The company did good advertising with it until they posted crappy videos. I just think that everyone who broke their TX2000s in 3 days were morbidly obese and blaming the mat instead of gravity. |
