Okay. I have Stepmania 3.9 rc3, and on my game, I think that the timing with the steps may be messed up with my game. One of my friends thinks that since I have a really fast PC (4.0 Ghz, 1 GB DDR2 RAM) and a nice monitor, (25" widescreen HD-capable), it may have something with my PC, not the game. And how do I fix it, if the steps are indeed scrolling too fast and offbeat?

When that happens to me, auto-adjust usually fixes it.

After you select a song, you know that you quickly hit return/enter again to bring up the menu with the arrow speed, solo, freezes off, mines, mirror, etc., etc. etc..

After you select those options, hit return/enter then quickly hit it again. This brings up the menu with hand claps, song speed and auto adjust, etc..

This usually fixes minor computer speed problems (gaps) but it could also be that the game was poorly written (or the is BPM off).
