Just a heads up, girls. |
I'm going to take that with a grain of salt. I'd like to see something that doesn't cause cancer these days.
I used to have to wear 2 sports bras, but as I continued DDRing my boobs got smaller and the need for two wasn't necessary *cry* _________________

I heard that broccoli prevents one kind of cancer and causes another. _________________

Studies have shown that excessive breathing may cause cancer. So watch your oxygen intake, everyone!
Back on topic...wouldn't a bodice be sort of inconvenient for people if they don't already have one? (Like you did). _________________

if you are below a c cup; i find a good solution is shirts with shelf bras, or shirts with a high spandex percentage. both of these are like sports bras, only not quite as thick (so not as hot). you can find them in athletic departments at stores. plain spandex mix shirts are in the juniors department. they are usually pretty cheap too.
for reference; i was a b cup when i started playing (used the shelf shirts) and now i'm an a cup (tight spandex/cotton blend shirts) _________________

As a fellow top heavy player since 2001 I have offered this solution a few times to people with the same "problem" as I have, I'm surprised to see a thread on it...! Hehe. I'm pretty much your chesty D (Formerly DD/E when I was breastfeeding and yes, still playing then too... lol)
I play in a tight form fitting bathing suit (under my clothes obviously, if I played in just the suit there'd be alot of blind folk here) The basic cheap full coverage suit with straps wide enough that they don't cut into the shoulders works best. It's the best solution I've found so far (besides getting a reduction... lol) They keep things in place.
Oh and I'm not your light mode player..., heavy double/expert double is my game.
Hope this helps!

OP here. Update to this thread:
Sometime in the last two years I heard about "Enell" sports bras. I don't remember how I heard about them - I don't watch Oprah, lol, so it wasn't thanks to her - but obviously whoever told me about them convinced me they were worth a whirl. (Before this time, I was wearing a Renaissance Faire bodice to DDR in, which was the only thing I knew of that could keep things under control.)
I tried one and it was -amazing-; I could even do JUMPING JACKS and the girls wouldn't move. Yeah, they're kind of expensive at $55 a pop - and they're very tight - but they beat the everloving hell out of a bodice and can be worn under a regular shirt (and hence to places like arcades without attracting the odd stares a bodice worn in public would.)
I now own about five of them in an array of colors and couldn't be more satisfied. I'm still very topheavy despite having lost forty pounds - I guess my body forgot to tell my chest I was losing weight. >< And my old original Enells still work just as well now. (your mileage may vary depending on how much weight you lose and where.)
I vaguely recall hearing of another brand of sports bra out there like Enell, too. Does anyone have any kind of report to make about those? |
