I, like many others before me in this post, pay my respects
I loved your songs, from My Generation to Captain Jack, Only You and Dream a Dream, you have influenced the DDR world and it is a great loss.
Captain Jack is one of my favorite songs period, I can AA it no problem now, but now that your dead, I'll try and SDG it or something. _________________

"Only you-ooh, can make me feel so true
I'll never ever be so blue
As long as I have you"
Captain Jack "Only You"
I think that pretty much sums it up... _________________

I made a special arcade run, when I heard about this. I played all of his songs on Extreme, in his honor. RIP Captain Jack. |

That really sucks. Can't really say much else on the matter. When I first got into DDR, I had a bootlegged (don't kill me, I stumbled upon it...) copy of DDR2ndREmix, and Captain Jack and The Race were two of my favorite songs on there. Definitely one of the more distinct, and memorable artists to be featured in DDR. |

I know i'm a couple days late on the news, but it's still sad to me. Wow... Captain Jack....gone? It's hard to believe for me. I know i'm sounding all weird (lol), but it's hitting me kind hard. Captain Jack rules! Even though he has moved on, i will still cherish his music and love him dearly.
R.I.P, Captain Jack...
WE LOVE YOU!!!! _________________

I have nothing but fond memories of Captain Jack. His songs were crazy, irreverent, and fun to dance to.
I remember Captain Jack -Grandale Mix- as the first Catastrophic-level stepchart I ever passed. (This was back when step patterns HAD those titles.) And Dream A Dream was the first 7-Foot Heavy song I ever AAAed.
Like him or hate him, he definitely helped DDR's popularity increase with his music. I mean, there IS a reason why his music kept being included mix after mix. He's right alonside smile.DK in this regard.
I salute you, Captain Jack. You provided us with some of the finest songs in DDR history.
Oh, and naked women. Can't forget about your abundance of naked women. _________________

Absolutely... Captain Jack (the song) was the first cata i passed back in the day of 3rd mix... Captain Jack was an icon of the DDR series and is the most popular artist in the series in my eyes (maybe 2nd to Naoki). _________________

Wow. That's so young. It's such a shame. I'm sure he's in a better place.
Dream A Dream (Miami Booty Mix) is the only song that I felt dedicated enough to AAA. _________________

Tonight, I'm going to do a memorial dance for Captain Jack at Pick Wick tonight at 10:00. Anyone in the area is encouraged to join in, and we can all have at it on the ol' 8th mix machine. Hope to see you all there. I believe that the only song of his on 8th Mix is the infamous 'Captain Jack,' but damn it, it will be appropriate and I will put all the love I can into that single play. It will be the final song of my play set.
Captain Jack definitely created some of DDR's most famous, most playable and definitely most loveable songs in all of DDR, hands down. He may be not be with us physically, but his spirit will live on through his family and friends and anybody that plays or listens to his songs. Let every DDR player that you possibly can know of this tragedy, and keep Captain Jack alive in your hearts. _________________
