DDR had a couple of convenient game options in its console versions that i seem to be missing (so far) in ITG, which i just got in the mail today.

"end of music": especially useful if i just want to watch that really-really-hard song fly by, without it failing and kicking me out in the first 5 seconds.

"event mode": ITG does have this, but it seems to affect only the number of songs. in DDR, it would allow you to return directly to music selection even if you failed or exited a song (at least, in max2 and on).

Or are there ways to accomplish these that i've missed so far? it just seems that they've forgotten a few things in the game settings.

If you fail a song in event mode, just hold select to return to the song wheel. ITG doesn't really need "end of music" because it only fails you after a 30 miss combo.

Lets put it this way:

Those options don't exist in ITG.

If you wan't to see the "really-really-hard song" without failing, go to practice mode.

Their is no event mode in ITG either.

Anyway, I guess that when you say event mode, you mean Dance Mode *slaps self on head*.
