This has probably been done before, but anyway, this is just a thread for talking about those songs that you should should get more respect/attention either at your arcade, or in general (I'm talking about the song AND the stepchart together).

1. The Least 100sec: I am the only person I've ever seen playing this song at my arcade, but I think it has great stepcharts for all difficulties, especially on heavy. Also it's just a cool song in general.

2. Pink Rose: One of the few j-pop songs on DDR I feel is actually musically good, and with really cool step patterns/rhythms. It took a few playthroughs for me to appreciate, but it's one of my favorites now.

3. stoic: Tons of jumps, but it's a great stepchart. Strangely easier than it looks. I just think of this as a more fun version of DXY!, but everyone plays that instead *shrug*.

Peace Out. I love this song while everyone else hates it.

1) Dance Dance Revolution. The song is awesome and the steps for Standard, Heavy and Oni are all really fun.

2) Heaven is a '57 Metallic Grey. The Heavy steps are amazing, but no one seems to like the song at all. Which I don't understand, it's such a fun song.

The Least 100sec sounds like someone shitting on a piano. I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way. I kind of like the steps, but I just can't get over the music.

I'd say the most unnappreciated song is Leading Cyber. I realize a lot of people would say that this song sounds like ass, but that's just the way I roll.

Xenon. It gets dissed all too often because people don't understand the rhythms in its Heavy stepchart. It's a lot of fun once you get it down.

Dead End-A lot of people think there is no music, where I think it has one awesome beat. The steps go perfectly with the rythmn and are amazing. Definetley my all time favorite song.

Butterfly Upswing Mix-A lot of people don't know about this 170 BPM Crossover Central Butterfly remix, and they probably never will. Just because the original was over played and had terrible steps, doesn't mean this one will. It has awesome steps and is quite challenging, and the only way people will realize this is if they play it.

I hear you. Also, everyone I know hates SAKURA because it is to easy to be a 10. It's a good song, so even if it is easy, why not play it?

This varies. Sakura is one of the most whored-out songs at my local arcade.

Maxx unlimited's last jumps on standard are so frikin tiring!

The Heaven is a '57 metallic gray (gimmix) is good.

Sakura is definitely easier and more managable than unlimited (when it comes to stream i'm mr. quickfeet (quarter beats at 333 bpm))

DDR is a good song. Why would anyone hate it?

Yeah, Xenon isnt one of my favorites. The standard steps have too many 8th beats and its confusing.

Yes, peace out has good music, but the steps are too easy.

No matter what anyone says, PARANOiA rules over all PARANOiAs after it.
I should put that in my sig!

So i guess i just recapped on what everyone else said.

Or they would, if Konami bothered to sync it right...

People don't like Least 100 or Heaven is a 57 because the arrows are miserably offsync. Same with Mikeneko Rock and way too many other songs in DDR.

Mikeneko is the only song I find to be "miserably" offsync. By this I mean, it just FEELS very wrong, wheras with most other songs I don't notice it so much (regardless of how offsync they actually are).

Not to mention that the video is one of the more interesting on its mix. The whole thing feels like it's ripped directly from the theme song to anime series, and I love it. Definitely what I was going to answer, until I saw you already did it.

And because it's a terrible remix of Ode To Joy.

I think the stepchart's fun. I like the long runs. Well, now that I think about it is a kinda stupid stepchart; and the song itself is kinda creepily gay

And the most underated song Has to be Dam Dariram. It is an awsome song and has a frigin awsome step-chart. I wish that it was on a PS2 ddr game, frown.gif
