This week I went to the AMOA convention in Las Vegas and below are some pictures. I met Chris Danford at the Roxor booth where they were showing ITG2 (conversion and the one they build). It was great to talk to him about ITG and stepmania.

Percussion Master looks interesting. Did you play it at all? _________________

I did not play it (wish I sorta did now). I was in a hurry so was pretty rushed.
The drum actually has two spots, you can hit it on the rim or in the middle when you play on the advanced setting. |

Hey, it's great to see some pictures from this event! I couldn't be there, unfortunately.
There's a lot of blur going on in that first picture! zomgCensorship? |

Didn't know if Chris wanted his mug all over the internet - You never know what photo might end up on the fark.com photoshop contest.

That's very considerate. I don't mind unblurred though :-) |

Hrm, I wonder how I missed this topic.
Percussion Master is OK, it's nothing spectacular. Idea is kinda neat, it's like a Taiko no Tatsujin DX. The music is pretty bland though. _________________

I'm wondering how I missed this thread as well. o_O Anyway, yeah, Percussion Master is pretty cool. I thought it looked kind of lame when I first heard about it, but it's more fun than I assumed it would be. Song selection does need some work, though. I just noticed something, too. The bars on the ITG2 dedicated cabinet I've played on are different from the ones in the 1st picture. They're mostly like DDR bars except with a slight PIU influence, if that makes any sense. Weird. |
