my arcade got a core remix but lacks the knowledge on how to reset the highschore knowing the good folks here i figure one of you fellows can tell us how

so apparently its a complete mix as the arcade staff cannot read teh title screan only the marquee it plays just fine but they dont know how to work the dip switches

new question

does anyone have a wireing diagram or a schematic as now theri is a desire to wire in sme small battery system to keep teh scores saved when the machine is powered down each night and while both me and the tech know how to do this we dont want to just examine a board for 5 hours to find the right place to add it on to

Strange. I was under the impression that all 5-key Beatmania arcade games reset high scores every time you reset the machine (even The Final does).

Which dipswitch are you looking to reset, and do you have a CM1 or Core Remix? The dipswitch settings are different for both machines I believe (I think Konami changed what dip settings did after a particular Mix, i.e. difficulty only goes 0-4 instead of 0-8).

Yes, Orochi you're correct. 5 key beamania resets high scores every time you reset the machine.

If you can't find porn on the Internet, you're not trying.

Thing is, what do you need to reset? In a Complete Mix machine, there's nothing to save. Dip switch settings are done physically, and you need a manual to find out what each setting does or how to set, say, coin options, difficulty, etc. It's not like DDR where everything is done via options menu.

Hrm I don't think you quite understood the context.

Reset the machine = turn it off then turn it back on.

The machine does not save high scores. The only thing Beatmania saves is unlockable features, which are only featured on a very few Mixes.
